The item arrived in a cardboard box inside another box. I really wanted to be just like the girl shown in the description, cleaning my gutters with a big smile on my face. Alas, that is not what happened. As much as I want to give the manufacturer kudos for attempting to make something as horrible as gutter cleaning easier, I don't really think this tool accomplishes that based on my experience. Perhaps a younger person with more upper body strength would be able to swiftly and elegantly wield a 15+ ft awkward and heavy pole like a night of yore, but I looked more like a jester, making a fool of myself. At the end of the poll is a small scoop-like shovel attachment, which must be at a certain angle, which is extremely difficult to maintain As you move the pole. They even provide a mirror so you can see into the gutters as you clean, however for the mirror to work at the appropriate angle in my case, I would have to be about 7 ft 7 in tall, which would actually negate me even needing a system to reach and clean my gutters. The price point of this item is $50, and if it actually worked as billed, it would be so well worth it. Unfortunately the only way I will get my gutters cleaned is if I hire someone to do it, or borrow a ladder and plan on a weekend of crying and cursing my gutters clean. I'm giving it three stars because of the price point and the fact that it didn't work for me, but I also realized that there are people who will be able to use this item, and obtain very similar results as mentioned in the item description.

Ive been putting off cleaning out my gutters for a while because its a pain and time consuming..Usually have to pull the ladder out, and it becomes a few hours of aggravation to do it. I saw this product and figured I'd give it a try. Glad I did, because this thing is great! Its exactly as shown in the photos, and does the job exactly as you'd expect. Took me about 15 mins to clean out my two gutters that needed it, that would normally require me up the ladder. Overall, very good useful little product! Thanks!

I will say, I have to give QLANGS credit for attempting an easier way of cleaning your gutters while keeping your feet on the ground and eliminating the need for a ladder. The actual materials that are used to make their gutter cleaning tool are reasonable.....the problem is, it just doesn't work. What you get when you open the box are several segments of stainless steel tubular poles that you screw together to make an adjustable pole, a gutter "scoop" that looks like a small, perforated shovel (needs to be attached to a small segment of a stainless steel tube with 2 screws and 2 nuts), an Allen wrench and a small regular wrench for the scoop attachment, a bristle brush attached to a small wood pole, and a "bicycle" convex mirror (it really is a bicycle mirror as it states so on its package). The Amazon picture has a bunch of screws of different lengths and some mollys....you don't get any of that. All you get are 2 screws, 2 nuts, and the tools I mentioned. Attaching the scoop to the small segment pole was not as easy as it should have been due to more of an awkward position than anything else. There are no instructions, but looking at the pictures on the Amazon page as a guide, it is not rocket science. The pole segments screw together relatively easily except for the last "handle" pole segment (the one with the plastic "handle" end) which I found fairly difficult for any other pole segment to actually engage with the machined grooves on the inside portion of that handle segment. Once you have chosen the pole length you need, you screw on the scoop. You also then need to figure out where to attach the "bicycle" mirror on this whole gadget (the mirror is attached by a minimally stretchy piece of vinyl plastic similar to how you would attach a bicycle mirror to a bicycle handle) as you need to see what you are trying to scoop as well as to get the "lay of the land" of the gutter. Now you are all set.....and on your first attempt you quickly realize how awkward this whole set up is. First, unless your gutter is completely filled, it is almost impossible to scoop the leaves into the shovel and then lift the shovel out of the gutter without losing most of the leaves. If your gutter is only half-filled with leaves, forget about it....you will be outside forever. Second, your gutters are secured to your roof by small cylindrical metal posts every 3 or 4 feet. You can't get around them with this crane looking gadget, which means that unless you adjust the shovel when you get to that area to a position to be able to push the leaves to one side or the other of these posts and then reposition the shovel to attempt to scoop up the leaves without pushing them back underneath the posts, your attempt at cleaning your gutters will become an utter failure. Finally, it is very awkward to use this item and the greater the length of pole you need, the more awkward it gets. Where do I find use for this? The bristle brush is good to brush stuff off the roof or off an overstuffed gutter.......also, the mirror connected to the pole can give you a view of what is going on with the inside of your gutter or to see where an errant item that found its way on your roof actually is. Switching from scoop to brush attachments is easy as long as you didn't lose the Allen wrench that was supplied. As a gutter cleaning tool, however, you will quickly find out how awkward and difficult it is to use and how much longer it will take you to do the job (at least triple). Unfortunately, can't recommend this one.

I picked this up for my sister her gutters when she bought her house where discussing filled with debris from birds and trees this took to the job very easily very easy to use. Great quality amazing value.

I haven't actually used this yet but it's nice quality & has all the attachments. I have a difficult roof to access bc of the slope, I can't readily or safely use a ladder to reach. I tried getting my brother to help & he brought over his fancy scaffolding ladder but same issue, too dangerous of a slope. I hired a yard guy who has no issue getting on the roof & then blowing the gutters clean. I don't mind paying someone to help since I can't use the ladder & I'm definitely not getting on the roof but there's in between times when just one side of the house will need the gutters cleaned out & the weight of the pinestraw makes me wonder how much can they hold before the gutters detach. I think this tool, if it reaches & functions as it's supposed to, could bridge the gap. I will update after trying it out. Stay tuned.

Works well if you're only cleaning the gutters on the 1st floor. Completely useless for the 2nd floor.
