We adapted it to fit air tank. Was to heavy to use when hooked up to water. Water pressure was not good and fittings leaked. Not very durable.

The somewhat over priced extendable tool for cleaning gutters has two drawbacks. First, the Americans use the old imperial thread system and not the metric thread system we had forced on us by the E.U. When trying to fit a garden hose with a metric thread fitting to an American imperial pipe thread,it just leaks . Second, the nozzle at the top of the pipe is non adjustable but has an a.c. m. e. thread on it’s end.If you can purchase an imperial fitting and fit it to your garden hose and you are prepared to buy an a.c.m.e threaded adjustable nozzle to spray water into your gutters, well and good. The overall quality of the extendable pipe is excellent and it is well made, and worth buying, but very pricey.

Tried to clean second story gutters that I know have some clogs. I’m in the Northwest and we have a lot of pine needles. I thought hey, this product with some decent pressure could easily dislodge pine needles. If I’m feeling adventurous, I get on a ladder and it takes a very small amount of force to dislodge the pine needles that collect to get things moving. With this extended, it’s a wobbly noodle. Once I finally was able to position it correctly, I fire it on, water comes out somewhat weakly, and regardless of positioning it can’t dislodge the pine needles that collected at the top of the downspout.Just a waste now that will be in a pile the next time I need to visit the dump.

I used this product for cleaning gutters on my two story home and I was impressed with its ability to clean the leaves out of my gutters. It takes a bit of strength to hold onto it when the water is on high, but I did not find it overly difficult to hold onto or guide. When the water is flowing quickly through the GutterMaster pole it does move the tip backwards but I could easily control the amount of water that was flowing through the pole. Having a 16ft pole made it so I did not have to use a ladder.

Fantastic product. Shoots a strong water stream aimed just right to dig out gunk. It's also quite sturdy to withstand abuse. That means the wand is not exactly light. If you are not used to waving a huge pole around be prepared for a workout.Top Tip: There are two lengths, 12ft and 16ft. I was tempted to save some $$ and get the short one, but as it turned out the 16 footer allowed me to park one end on the lawn while the business end rinsed out the gutter. This allowed me to drink beer while the wand did the work. Also the gizmo costs less than hiring a local idiot to do the job.

I have been climbing on my roof twice a year for 33 years with a hose to flush out my gutters. I have leaf guards, but live in the woods that is loaded with oak trees. Those little seeds get through the leaf guards, and block everything up. My friend loaned me his Gutter Master. I have a well so my pressure isn't like city water pressure. I didn't think this would work. WOW was I wrong. This thing blasted everything out of my gutters, and downspouts. If the downspout is blocked, just let this lay there a while. It will open it. Again I am on well water pressure. If it works here it will work anywhere. When I had it fully extended to the 16 feet it was a little heavy, but I attached an old weed trimmer strap and it worked well.

This arrived on time in good condition. It’s a reasonably sturdy item and worked well.I’ve used it twice so far: once to clean garage gutter and once at full extension to clean a high gutter on my house. Both went well.I’m a 5’5”, 61 year old woman and I was able to manage this. I was able to clear my plugged gutter and wash the debris through two elbows and down the downspout. . I’m glad the product wasn’t heavier because at full extension it is, as one would expect, a bit cumbersome to manoeuvre. I think it was helpful that I attached it to an expandable hose which was quite lightweight so I didn’t have the extra weight of a heavy hose to drag along as well. Some reviews mentioned dripping. I had only minor dripping.

I bought this so I could stop paying someone to get up on my roof and clean out the high gutters. I was skeptical but WOW--not only very sturdy and well built, but easy to use as well. I used it for the first time today. When you open it as big as it gets and then turn on the water it does take a bit of maneuvering. I found that leaning the top area against the gutter before turning on the water makes it easy to move around. The end of my gutter and its downspout were completely clogged. Hit it with the high power water coming out of this thing and I had it cleared in about 3 minutes. After the clog was cleared, water kept coming out of the area of the spouting near the ground--and it kept coming and coming (meaning the whole top gutteer had been full of water that hadn't been able to drain). I was able to reach the area easily with no ladder needed. Now I'll just keep an eye on the spouting near the ground and when it slows down or stops draining I'll know it's time to do it again. This will save me a ton of money that I would have spent hiring someone to get up on the roof to remove the clogs. REALLY PLEASED not only with how it works, but in the quality of the piece as well. Should last many years. Note: there are NO instructions included but it was very easy to figure out how to loosen the two collars, extend it, then tighten the collars. Bottom collar fits easily on a regular garden hose. Great purchase!

The pole came bent upon arrival and instead of dealing with a return I just decided to straighten it myself. The valve at the bottom is poor quality and after using for a few days started to leak which is a real pain when holding the pole above your head to clean gutters because it will run down your hand, arm, torso and soak you. Easy fix for this is to just grab a $5 brass valve from home depot and toss the one that came with the pole. With a good valve on it the pole can be very useful and does spray a powerful enough jet stream of water to clear and rinse almost any debris from a gutter or wash the siding on your house. Overall great product for approx. $100.

I have a really tall old house. The 2nd story gutters are a good 25' up there, and very hard to reach due to sloping ground and trees all around the house. Invariably the downspouts will get clogged down in the elbow joints just below the gutters. Enter this handy gadget! With the help of an 8' ladder and my own height, I can maneuver this thing into the downspout and blast it clean. It feels quite sturdy and the joints are easy to loosen and tighten in order to extend or contract it. Because it's aluminum, it's lighter weight and you will appreciate that fact as you're wiggling it around 20' in the air.One caveat, the connector on the end did not bend downward enough for my purpose. It has a funny "acme" connector, whatever that is, so you cannot just screw on another short hose or nozzle onto it. However, I cut a short piece off an old hose and used a standard-size hose repair clamp to affix it to the end so it would angle downward more. A little proboscis, if you will. That worked great and gave me just the angle I needed to get it real good down into the downspout. You'll see it in the picture attached. In summary, it's a little pricey but it was worth it to me to help clean very difficult to reach gutters. And it seems well-built so hopefully it'll last me some years.
