These wooden rings are great. The wood feels solid and sturdy. Though it’s a bit rough to the touch at first, it smooths out quickly, and the included grip tape is great. They come with long, adjustable straps that make it easy to set up at different heights for different exercises. As a rock climber, they’re perfect for upper body conditioning. These rings are a great addition to a home gym.

As a rings novice, this seems to be a great quality and affordable set. I wish there was more instructions given, especially since it seems like all of the material, photos and listing purposely omit the how to attach them. I've got a pretty sturdy pull up where these straps now live. Had to find tutorials online and just hoped to my types of straps were similar to other ones on the market. Luckily, there was plenty of information once I started looking.

I used to be a gymnastics fanatic. I loved the sport.Since I got older, I got boring. I miss it. Do you hear that? I miss you, gymnastics. Now, I’m out of shape. I can’t belly flop let alone do a back handspring. The only tumbling I’m doing is out of bed. Sigh. The years have gone by so fast.I was really happy to see these rings. I’ve been wanting to get back into doing bodyweight exercises. I’m pleased to see calisthenics really getting popular too. Perhaps these rings is just the thing to make me get back up from my so far 4.0 performance in life.In gymnastics, the standard competition rings have a 1.1” diameter, which is crucial for maintaining grip consistency during high-level routines. The transition from training with a 1.25” ring to a 1.1” competition ring might require some adjustment, especially when it comes to precision grips and strength endurance. Now, these rings… let’s get picky. They’re good rings. However, that comes with a caveat. The handles are 1.25” thick. Competition is 1.1”. So, if you’re getting these to do real gymnastics and you want to train for competition such as the still rings, you probably don’t want these rings. At least, if you do, you’ll want to do hybrid training where you stay comfortable with the 1.1” so you don’t have a hard time recalibrating when it’s time. For anyone serious about competitive gymnastics, it’s important to practice with equipment that closely matches competition standards to avoid any surprises during actual meets. However, for someone like me who is only trying to get back into shape, these are perfect. The 1.25” rings will result in a little more strength and grip training. So, no conflict on my side. These rings are great for conditioning and strength building, but if you’re aiming for precision training for skills like the Iron Cross or Maltese, you might find the thicker rings slightly less ideal. These have the nice 15’ length on the straps so you can use these for real ring routines, not just bodyweight exercises. They come with blue and black grip tape. (I’m old school - we only used chalk.)I’m very happy with these. You will be too… just keep in mind your goals and the ring size. I'll give these 4.5 stars out of 5 because of the handle size issue... but that rounds up to 5 stars which is appropriate depending on your goals.

If you could only have one piece of equipment in your gym, gymnastic rings would be the ultimate choice. You can really do everything with them. Even leg workouts. This pair here is a pretty nice quality of wood, with a strong and long set of straps. I love how they are marked too for length. So I can get them lined up in seconds. Unlike some of my older ones that I have to fiddle back and forth with to get them perfectly matched. The wood by itself feels good but I thought I would try out the included grip tape on these. That actually was surprisingly more comfy than I imagined. Though I do wonder how long it will hold out.For the price, these rings offer a strong quality in both the rings and straps. I have a few different types, from the hard plastic ones to some expensive wood ones too. These are are up to par if not better than my other rings in the collection. Plus, it's nice having multiple rings so I can leave some always set up, have a pair to travel with, and others at various heights. Grab these and have a proper minimalist gym wherever you want to hang out.

Great for resistance training at home when I can't get to the gym. I've hung these from a pull-up bar in one of my doors and use them whenever I walk through that room which has encouraged me to use them more than I thought I would. They're good quality and sturdy though the straps are a little bit long for my use (probably perfect if you have high ceilings or a garage).

These rings are solid smooth wood with a large area in the center so that my hands aren't squished when I am using them. The 15 ft tethers allow numerous different exercises to be completed. Definitely worth the add to any gym!

They are unfinished but perfectly sanded. Paint them or put on a clear coat and then wrap them with the provided tape. They'll last longer than you will. The diameter of each ring is the perfect size for my hands (I'm 6'1, 180lbs) with larger than average hands. They're so easy to hold. The straps and the rings seem to be quite strong. I did a quick workout on them today and they held up very well. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's routine. :)
