Your cart is empty. The Gypsy bitty Buddy is the perfect collector for the trimmings and snippets that invariably occur with every sewing and quilting project. Collapse the container and secure it with the attached elastic loop to store or transport it to classes and retreats. OR, place the elastic loop under your sewing machine so the scrap bag hangs off of the table and frees space around your sewing area. When open, it measures 6 inches by 7 inches. When collapsed it measures 6 inches by 1/2 inch.

I really like this for my travel quilt bag. Takes up hardly any space and is nice to have at retreats.

I have 3 of them. One travels with me to seeing bees. The elastic will wear down but you can sew a new one on or use big rubber bands (the ones on celery work great) to keep it collapsed.

I absolutely love this pretty purple "bucket" for my thread clippings! I have it attached to a drawer handle by my sewing machine. I will be ordering a second one to go by my serger. It is so easy to drop thread clippings into this as I go and so easy to empty. Wonderful invention!

Great to have for quilters when you go on a retreat. You have someplace to put your scraps of material and threads in close by you. When it's full you empty and when you're done using it you just collapse it and it flattens out nicely and fits in with your other quilting items.

The description says when open it measures 6 inch in diameter by 7 inch in height. It only measures 5 1/2 inches in height so buyer beware. I had bought one of these earlier this year and it was the right measurements and I love it, use it daily, so not sure why this one isn't ? Disappointing when you're satisfied with a product but it gets replaced with something different than what was ordered.

This container springs up to full size when the elastic is removed from the collapsed bin - like magic! It is quite large, will hold tons of snips of thread and scraps of fabric or paper, etc. Very handy for my sewing projects - keeps the little pieces of thread or material inside, rather than strewn about as I sew (and later need to clean them up from wherever they have fallen.) The elastic was already coming unsewn from the top when I got it so I will need to repair that. This bin is not a necessity, other solutions work for handling bits of thread, etc, without spending any $. But it is a fun bin to have on hand. :)

I originally purchased the Bitty Buddy to hang from the side of my longarm shell using a Command hook. The idea was to put snipped threads in it and eliminate the inconvenience of running back and forth to the waste bin or having threads lying everywhere.Well, long story short, the Bitty Buddy never made it to the longarm room.In fact, it has found its permanent home in my domestic sewing room. It's small size makes it a space saver. Its lightweight construction makes it easier to move from the cutting area to the domestic sewing machine than a small waste bin. I toss everything in it from fabric scraps to loose threads. And when I'm done for the day I just tip it upside down and everything slides right out into the trash because of the slick material it's made of, making cleanup a breeze.I love the Bitty Buddy so much I'm going to buy a second one just for the longarm room like I originally planned. I would recommend this to any crafter in a heartbeat!
