Love using this type of thread snips. Have purchased other brands but they weren't as sturdy as these. The product is "spendy" but well worth the money. They are very portable, light weight and I love the blade protector. I like their ease of use as sometimes finger holes on scissors can be a bit small. And they don't take up a lot of room.

These are my favorite scissors. They can easily get into difficult areas with appliqué.

I do a lot of machine embroidery and these little snips are sharp, and can get close the the threads without coming close to the material being embroidered. Glad I ordered 2 sets!

Update: 9/17/2024, They snapped, no idea why they would have in the place they did. Should last longer than 6 months. Hope my other pairs don't break too.I've tried a lot of "squizzers" and these are by far the best. Even order another pair, they stuck together often, they were replaced right away and the new ones are perfect. Doubt I'll ever go back to finger embroidery scissors.

The fine tips are ideal for snipping threads on machine embroidery work, the fine, curved and sharp points allow for cutting close to the fabric without risk of damage.

Purchased as a gift for my mom who loves to quilt but has some challenges with small snips. She LOVES these - they have a decent grip that makes it easier to use for someone with compromised dexterity.

Sharp and with curved blade for trimming machine embroidery. Not flimsy like the cheaper ones and much sharper.
