The statement "Don't go for the less expensive knockoff" applies to this product. I made the mistake and came back for the legitimate Gyro Pen. So, now you don't need to pay twice like I did.

Total garbage! Doesn’t matter how hard you press, it just perforates the paper in a few places, and doesn’t cut at all the way they do in the videos. Don’t see how this product is being sold. Sadly, I missed the return window.

Wow... I was blown away by how easy it is to use! I saw the gyro cutter online and i knew i had to order one for myself. It cuts paper very smoothly. When using this product though i recommend putting something under what you are cutting because sometimes when the blade cuts all the way through it can damage the surface you are working on. Great blade, doesn't dull easily, replaced my pair of scissors! **HIGHLY** recommend.

This tool is great for cutting out the middle of letters (print and cursive). It's not hard to use, you use it by tip of blade down and draw around letting the blade move. If needed practice on a piece of paper, when using it put a piece of paper under what you are cutting. This is alot easier then using scissors to cut. This works great on stencil, standard computer paper white and colored, and cardstock paper.

I really wanted to love this thing but I don’t. I find that it leaves jagged edges that I have to clean up. Doesn’t always cut all the way through card stock. I am using very vanilla by Stampin Up in this photo. It’s been a year or so and I’ve only used it a handful of times. It could be user error, but honestly I don’t like it.
