I wanted a simple string of LED lights that didn't require a remote or an app. I already had a switch controlled outlet for cove lighting and this strip was perfect. Plenty of clips were included in the bag to support the string about every 12in. Very easy to install and I think it looks perfect. I got the 6000K lights and the brightness gives a soft illumination across the room. The silicone cover diffuses the light nicely, there's no hot spots for the individual LED elements. I'm considering getting some more for other areas in the house.

An excellent choice for ambient back lightening. I needed extra light in my home studio and this was an excellent choice. I didn't want regular led strip lights and this is a nice alternative with its neon glow. The strips is easy to shape and has some weight to it. It is taking some time for the ends to lay straight, still has a slight bend to it. I do think I will purchase a dimmer plug that I can plug this into and have even more control over the brightness. I did use the metal brackets and the light strip snaps into them with ease, holding up the lights nice and straight. Very pleased with the results.

Great lights! I used them to line a dark closet in my bedroom and they added just the right amount of lighting so that I can see the spiders lurking in the dark corners. The light temperature is very warm, and its nice and bright. The installation instructions were a bit difficult to follow, but with some patience and the power of the internet, we were able to figure it out and get these lights working. We're happy with them over all.

I ordered these LED neon rope lights for our work area in the office for additional ambient lighting. The 16.4ft silicone rope provides a nice warm white glow that's bright enough to be useful without being harsh on the eyes. The flexible design makes it easy to shape around corners and edges.Installation is straightforward since it comes ready to plug in with no separate driver needed. The silicone casing feels durable and gives off an even light without any dark spots. While it claims to be waterproof, the manual suggests additional waterproofing may be needed for outdoor use, so I'm keeping mine indoors.

I ordered these lights to use on my RV for outdoor lighting and ambience. The lights come on a reel and are flexible enough to easily bend around curves. The package includes hooks and screws for easy installation. I haven't installed the lights yet, but I plugged in the reel and it's the perfect soft lighting I was looking for.

The good: the warm lights are bright but not 'hurt your eyes' bright. Mine arrived without any dead spots, so that's good.They have a good warmth to them, enough so that I'll be using them in my kitchen. I have them temporarily wrapped around the island (see pic) for illustrative purposes. Don't mind the mess, we just moved in. You can see the warm glow of the lights on the area surrounding the island.The silicone is soft and flexible. The power cord is long and feels heavy duty.Needs improvement: the product description and the included manual. There are confusing and at times conflicting statements.For example, the product description states these rope lights are suitable for outdoor use. The manual says every part of this product is not waterproof and the purchaser must perform the waterproofing. The manual goes on to provide instructions how to properly waterproof, but it references required materials that apparently aren't included. It does not specify the materials aren't included, or requires an additional purchase.If I'm required to purchase additional products and take additional steps on my own to waterproof this product, then this product should not be marketed as being capable of being outdoors/in wet environments because it requires modifications to do so.Also, the manual has an Accessories section, but it does not state that these aren't included in the purchase, or tell you where you CAN purchase them. Some things I couldn't find when searching for these accessories online.The manual also is lacking information about the usage of the (not included) accessories. For instance, the illustration of the "Connect Wire" seems to imply these lights are linkable with additional sets, but this isn't confirmed anywhere. If so, how many sets can you safely link?There's also a power cable with dimmer switch and remote option that would have been nice to have with this purchase, but that's an additional purchase.Additionally, the manual contains a section of cutting instructions and states the rope light can be cut every 10cm/3.9 inches. It states there are black marks on the bottom of the rope light to indicate where it's safe to cut...but there aren't any markings on the light (at least on mine).So all in all a nice rope light, but a little pricey. Due to the conflicting info I'm going to refrain from using this near my sink or outdoors.
