I love this roll of bright white lights. I love that you can choose between being on steady or flashing at full brightness, flashing alternately, or fading in and out in a gentle way. I was surprised to see that the plug is like the old fashioned plugs that have 2 prongs that are the same width. They haven't made them in decades, that I've seen. I looked it up and apparently it's not that important, especially not for a product that utilizes so little juice.This seems like it will do really well in rain and wind. I think it's fairly priced at $10 which is what it is selling for currently. I recommend this and will enjoy it for a long time, I hope.ETA: There is an odor that is pretty strong, coming from the tubing that encases all the lights. I'm sure this will dissipate over time and exposure to air. If it doesn't, I will update the review.

These lights are Bright, the 8 different functions you can select manually are all nice and offer distinct patterns. We do like the colors. We've used them for about 3 months with great success as part of an outdoor Christmas and Holiday display. I look forward to hanging them up again next year for the holidays. Easy 4 out of 5 stars from our family. Nice LEDs.

I just love these lights! The tube is smaller than I thought it would be so I was worried but they are super bright and gorgeous! The 66' length fit the front of our house just perfectly and they went up quickly. My husband did not want to hassle decorating the house but a neighbor put up lights so he grudgingly agreed to do it. Our old rope lights were just one color and really looked old and worn. He found these on Amazon and ordered them, put them up the day they came and was so pleased with how they look ordered two more strands for the yard! They have multiple functions so you can set different patterns too.

Looks great, be careful not to pull to hard when wrapping around deck rail ect. or they will not work from point of over tightening and then there junk.
