A very nicely made tool, that worked perfectly. It had no problem hacking through a couple inches of sod that had been building up over a few years. It was pretty easy to use, and made the place look nice.

Works on some areas were the grass and plants aren't too thick, but will not work in the thicker areas of the grass/flower beds.

I had higher hopes for this as I've owned a different type of hand edger in the past without the serrated blade and thought it would be comparable but it was not.For me, the blade didn't cut through my grass as easily as I hoped which meant that I had to use much more pressure on the blade with my foot. Because of this, a bigger lip area for the foot to push down on would have been a big help.Also, this blade is a bit smaller than I expected which means cutting a long edge will require a LOT of cuts.The blade seems a bit on the thin side and the handle feels light but I think it will do OK if not stressed too much.

I have an "O" ring style edger that my wife likes and I do not as much as she. I saw this and thought we'd give it a try. Mighty fine indeed. It's the right height, the saw tooth design works like a charm and it's not too deep - which is fine for cutting edges. The top handle is joined like a fine piece of furniture and the wood feels like quality but not overly heavy.This arrived and was out of the box and being testing in about 30 minutes as we were working in the garden. Everything is wonderful but I only wish the "folded" metal on the blade was wider. I had boots on so it didn't seem as noticable as for my wife who was wearing sneakers. The thin portion puts much pressure on one small part of your foot. It if was maybe one inch larger this would be a total knockout. On the other hand, our other edger is just slightly larger but feels just a bit better.The handle is great, the blade is great, it works very well. Just a bit more lip would be nice to have.

This is a sturdy edger. I use it to clean up the edges of the grass where the lawn and the flower beds meet. It is very easy to use and cuts through lawn easily. What I really like is that this edger came in a long box because the wooden handle is one solid piece. Typically long garden tools come with section handles that need to be. The single feel looks and feels much stronger.

I got this to replace a similar edger that broke years ago that I haven't found a similar replacement for. The design makes for easy use and the serrated edge will cut through root and such a lot easier than a smooth edge. The construction appears well done and it has held up well over multiple uses.

My husband used this to edge out our lawn and had no issues with this. It made decently quick work of a job that he was doing with a spade. The curved blade allows you to rock along the lawn edge and get the job done as quick as you can manually. Feels sturdy and well-made.
