Just what I needed to get that last few threads into a blind hole.I'm only a manual tapper so have no idea how this would work in a cnc. Recommend!

I bought this tap for a specific project where I needed the threads to bottom out in a blind hole. I used a two flute regular tap to cut in the first few threads then switch to this one for the bottom out held up well, used some tap magic and it cut through the cast iron with no problems to make the mounting holes for the transformer.

This tap is high quality and very sharp. It has the slightest taper and can start the hole and finish it. We use these all the time in the door business. We tap 3/8 inch steel with these and use cutting fluid every time. Will definitely buy more.
