This is a handy, portable oscilloscope. I like its small size and easy controls. I own a similar one from another company, and this one is easier to operate, with more intuitive menu functions.One tip: after you scroll the menu all the way to the right, it gets confusing where the cursor is and what menu you're adjusting. Look to the right edge of the screen and you'll see you're adjusting the vertical shift and the trigger level. Once I figured that out, it was super intuitive and easy to use.It lacks some features I'd expect, even in a budget scope, like different trigger options.It only measures up to 10V. This is contrary to the product description, which says it can, "...safely measure voltages up to 400V." I checked the 110V AC lines in my home, and they clipped at 10V.The probe uses a plug that I haven't seen before. I suspect it is proprietary, and the likelihood of replacing it is not good, I suspect. This is the main reason I gave it only 3 stars...once those wires break, I suspect you've got a brick. If I find that the probes are standard and readily replaceable, I'll bump it up to 4 stars.

This little oscilloscope works great. Sure, it doesn't have the memory or bandwidth of a desktop device, yet it's still useful to see what's happening at activation, capture peak to peak voltages, or just get a sense of the waveform. Plus, this little device can go places where the desktop unit can't like under the hood of a car. But, the device is limited by the very basic probes. Also, the probes us a tiny connector that I'm not familiar with, so it might be difficult to find better probes.

For Home & Automotive use this is a good pick if you’re a beginner, hobbyist, or car enthusiast needing to troubleshoot basic circuits, alternators, or sensors. The portability and battery life are big wins here. Professionals will probably be disappointed with its limitations. If your needs are simple, like checking 12V automotive systems, basic home electronics, or learning how to use an oscilloscope, this is a VERY worthwhile buy. Just don’t expect it to compete with pricier tools. If you think you’ll need more capability down the line (e.g., >10 MHz bandwidth), you might want to save up for something else instead.It's easy to use, a great size, and appears to be built well enough for regular use.5 stars and highly recommend simply for all the great functionality and features at such a great price!

This is a neat little scope, especially in the more "budget" range, but I have a few concerns.First, as others have noted, it's only really useful for lower-voltage electronics, audio, and automotive work. Its working range and sensitivity would be enough for some basic electronic diagnostics, like what you'd need to repair power stages on computer parts (video cards, motherboards). If that's what you're working on, you're in the clear. However, these will not work on higher voltages.The other concern is that I don't think you'll be able to replace the probes, the connector is proprietary or at least not commonly used or available in the US; I searched for a while out of curiosity and can't seem to find one. The wires will probably last a while under light use in a workshop, especially since they won't find any high-voltage use, but be careful if you're packing it up for in-the-field use or mobile work of any kind, because as far as I can tell, you can't replace them.Otherwise, the features are great, the menu takes a slight learning curve to navigate without the usual array of switches, dials, and buttons on a larger device, but it's intuitive enough and doesn't provide any real barrier to use.This would be a great introductory scope for a beginning hobbyist or someone who doesn't know if they should invest in something more advanced; I imagine by the time this one fails you'll know enough to confidently invest in a much more expensive model.
