This is Perfect fit for my 55 gallon tank . Easy assembly and super light weight. I’ve had mine for years and my little guy loves it’s so much !!! Eventually I want to have a box setup but this work for what we have now !!!

This worked well in my 55 gallon tank for a red eared slider. Had to set up the overall platform, lower into the tank and tighten up everything so it sat correctly.

We had issues before with the suction cup ramps that cling to the side of the tank. The basking lamps dry out the cups. This platform solves that problem perfectly! Well built and provides a sturdy platform for our red eared slider. Just make sure you peel all the plastic coating off first. If the plastic looks cloudy the coating is still there. Would definitely consider more products of the same brand.

When I remove the dock for cleaning, the plastic screws have a tendency to snap. They are small and a risk for the turtle to eat, which isn’t ideal. I desperately would like to purchase more or have a way to replace them. I have had the dock for 6 months and no longer have enough screws for it to stay together.The dock is slippery and at first my turtle had a hard time climbing up, however over time he figured it out. Assembly was easy but algae grows in it and disassembling tk clean is a bit of a pain.My turtle really hates having to turn to swim past the dock, so I made new legs to hold it and secure it to the sides of the tank. I also cut the ramp in half on mine so he can cleanly swim past.The material is good but I wish it cleaned easier. It looks good though and is professional. For my money, I probably wish I just built my own dock, but if that isn’t an option this dock is honestly prettt good. I paid $75.I reviewed at 1 star unless someone gets back to me on how I can get new screws.

I never like the sizes of most available turtle docks. They all seemed way too small. Finally found something that works for my adult male in his 75 gallon tank. He started checking it out the first day it was in and it doesn't seem like he's had any issues getting on and off it.I almost docked one star simply because I wish the pieces were a *little* sturdier. One of the leg pieces snapped when I was trying to finagle it into the tank. BUT the company provided a +1 of almost every piece, including a leg. So it was a non-issue.I feel like the ridges could be more pronounced for even easier grip, but I do like that it's all solid with no possible areas for a nail tear. Happy with my purchase.

I've had a red-eared slider for approximately 22 years and have never been able to find a basking platform that my turtle liked with the exception of the several large rocks plied on top of each other in his (her?) tank. I came across this platform and was encouraged by the reviews. As other reviewers stated, it does take some assembly, for me about an hour and a half. This is very sturdy and fits nicely into the tank. I was very happy to remove the noisy rocks as they were noisy and heavy. Getting them out gave my turtle a lot more space to swim about the tank. I was concerned that she (he?) wouldn't climb up onto the basking platform, but by the second day he was up there and now Tilly the Turtle seems very happy. I feel that the price is a little high which is why I didn't give a 5-star review.

My female painted turtle and I have fought over basking for years. We had a tank topper style one for a while, but I had to keep the water level so high for her to get up there. She was also skittish because she couldn't see out of the platform, which resulted in panic nosedives into the tank whenever anyone approached the tank.Well, I stumbled upon this clear platform and she loves it. She sits contentedly even when people approach the tank. The only negative is that she's not so strong and sometimes struggles to get onto the short ramp if the water level isn't right to the top. I would buy a longer ramp if it were available separately.As others have said, it's a bit of a pain to put together, especially estimating the height and width you need before putting it in the tank. But overall, it feels sturdy and most importantly, my turtle loves it.

This is really good quality and puts together nicely. The instruction manual is a little small for my vision, so I just took photos of it to read it, not a big deal at all. It went together easily once I figured it out and it is really sturdy. Franklin likes it and I’m sure will sleep more soundly on it during the winter months when he likes to crash hard for hours upon hours. Thank you for this product !
