This variable speed rotary tool is versatile and useful! You get all sorts of polishing and sanding bits as well as other attachments. I used it for the first time today to cut through a plastic lid then sand the edges. I used the lowest speed because higher settings were making the plastic melt more from the heat. It worked fantasticly! Be sure to wear safety glasses though, I had tiny plastic bits flying everywhere. It is pretty big and heavy compared to this cheap Harbor Freight one I used previously, but it wasn't too bad even though I'm quite small.Pros:- many tips and uses- multiple speeds- excellent price (like really, $30??!? Wow!)Changes I'd like:- I wish it came with more instructions on how to attach different things. I had to figure out how to put the wheel on myself which wasn't too hard, but still it'd be nice if it told you. Similarly, I have no idea what a "polishing agent" is or how to use it. Also it didn't come with a supply list or info about each part so I had to go back to the product listing to figure out which metal thing to use with the cutting wheel.- separate bags (or better yet hard plastic containers) for the different types of things. I don't see myself using much of the polishing stuff, so I'd like that in its own little container so I don't have to go through it to get what I want (and they seem to shed fuzz everywhere!). Also the polishing agent is some kind clay type thing that kind of left tiny clay bits in the bag, so again it'd be nice if that was in its own thing. The only thing that is separate are the wheels (cutting and sanding), but the wrench, collars, polishing stuff, drill bit, etc. are all in one bag.- more cutting wheels! Based on past experience with dremels (and cutting metal), the cutting wheels are the things that break and you only get 5 in this set. I managed to cut through 10 sponges (long story) and cut and sand that lid without it breaking though, so maybe it's not actually a big deal. With the excellent price and quality of this tool I highly recommend it. I'm sure it'll get much use in the future. Seriously an excellent buy!

I’d give it more but the motor is seemingly underpowered for the advertised wattage. I had another before this one that was way more powerful and had the same rating. I wish the other one still worked because this one’s been quite the disappointment. Loud, weak, lack of accessories and carrying case. 👎

So this rotary tool has been great! The variable speed has been noticeable between steps (which is a problem on other tools that I've used) and the power output is good even when feeling resistance. It does get bogged down a little when pressing into a piece but I'm not too concerned with that. The problem with this kit is the accessories that come with it, specifically the sanding wheels. I started using them on an aluminum rod and they immediately shredded. That being said, that's not why you should buy this. It's a cheep and good base tool and you can buy extras as you need them.

Have not used the machine yet, the grinder disks were all in pieces. Very flimsy attachments. You definitely get what you pay for.Edit..the company contacted me almost immediately after this review, wanting to make sure I was 100% satisfied. A few emails back and forth, a satisfactory outcome was agreed upon. Thank you

Nice value for this tool. Specifications are plenty of RPM for what I am doing and really easy to use.

I am very impressed by this piece of equipment. It’s fantastic easy to handle and does the job even better than I anticipated. It’s excellent quality with a great price. I do you have to say, and this is not meant to be taken negatively, it is on the larger, bulky side. If you have very small hands or do not have good hand dexterity, this would not be the tool for you.

First, I was surprised when I took this rotary tool out of the box. It feels heavier than other brands, but has a nice, ergonomic feel. It's got all the things you'd expect a rotary tool to have:- a hanger for either storage or with those retracting holders that'll help hold the rotary tool as you use it.- easy-access brushes for maintenance and longevity of the rotary tool.- six speed settings, from 8k to 35k rpm- lock button for easy collar removal/tip change. The PROS:1) Styling - it looks cool and fits comfortably in your hand; all the switches knobs are in good locations.2) 180W so it's got some power!3) Hook on the back to hang it for storage or with one of those support devices.4) Comes with a basic starter set of tips and accessories. The CONS:1) The button that you press to lock the shaft to change out the tool bits is plastic, and just has an odd feel; like it'll be the part that fails.2) The brush covers have that cheaper feel too.3) It's heavier than other brands, but it's more powerful than some, so that's not a bad thing if you want the power.4) I love the color scheme, but if you're doing a lot of polishing, the body is going to get dirty quickly.Overall, I think that as long as you're gentle with that button that locks the shaft, it should be a good addition to my hobby room.
