I bought this pulley to change the direction of a lifting winch which is lower down on a mast than this pulley The mounting hardware should be 1/4-20 or its metric equivalent. I found that 1/4-20 bolts were a perfect fit. This pulley will be mounted on a strut channel to fasten it to a 1-7/8" mast. The slot size in the strut channel are quite large so the 1/4-20 hardware will be adapted with some 1/4 x 1" O.D. large pattern fender washers. All in all the construction appears adequate to hold at least 200 lbs although they are rated at 420 lbs. I would not use these pulleys for anything that is personnel rated. The construction is no good enough for that. There is a hollow axle that turns on a clevis pin. There is a cotter pin that retains the clevis pin. There is no bearing of any kind other than the hollow axle. I will be using this pulley to lift a boom with a wire cable. The tension in the cable should never exceed 150 lbs. I will update this review if I find that something in the pulley fails at this tension.

I was looking for something fun to do in my laundry room and I thought making a mini clothesline would look cool. So I bought these, some paracord and I place them on the wall. I covered them with a homemade cardboard box with contact paper and hung little socks to denote what laundry goes in baskets underneath them. brights, whites, mediums and darks.

I also have these identical ones made by National brand. These are totally functional for the cost, but differences in the bends and overall finish mounting is noticeable. These work fine and I don't see any reason they won't hold up with regular use on a cantilevered cable locking system for a shed door. The parts do appear to be galvanized and the pulley itself is zinc plated.

Quality as expected, price was very good. Using pulleys for raising a hefty wood swing out of the way when not in use.
