Factory speakers are made from cheap materials like paper and in most cases do not even have tweeters which means more than half of the audible frequency range is lost. Harmony Audio Carbon series speakers are designed to directly replace the factory speakers dramatically improving sound quality and reproduce music as the artist intended. The speakers are available in a wide range of sizes and are constructed from high-quality materials like carbon fiber cones, durable rubber surrounds and 1" silk dome tweeters.

Factory speakers come in a wide range of sizes and mounting configurations which is why Harmony Audio offers 7 different models. Many of them include multiple mounting hole positions so can be installed in virtually any vehicle. The speakers feature high powered but slim magnets that will fit into even the tightest door panel or shallow mount dash. Another unique feature is the silk dome tweeters which do not extend past the frame of the speaker which is important when installing a door panel back into its factory fit location.

Might be a fine speaker, but I will never know.. The magnet is too big to fit an EV ZLX box.

Bought two of these and to date have not been disappointed. Install for a church client and so far they are holding up to the drive.

This is not a genuine replacement for any zlx speaker. I messaged the dealer and asked him personally if the woofer was compatible before purchasing. He stated that it was. Although you can hook it up to get sound...it does not fit the Ev zlx cabinet at all. It's too small. You can only get one screw in to hold it in place. Find an authentic zlx speaker!! Do not purchase this one. I'm not a negative person looking to bash products, but I want to keep someone else from wasting their hard earned money. The speaker is non returnable!!
