Better Materials, Best Sound Quality
Unlike a lot of our competitors, we use a black foil backing which will blend in much better in most applications for a more professional look. We use a 70 MIL Rubber Butyl which is perfect balance between material flexibly and performance for tight corners. The strong self adhesive backing that will not move once set and is rated up to 200 degrees.
Install Tips:
- Remove the speakers from the door panels and clean the metal surface make sure is dry before starting
- Take the 1st sheet and place it with the speaker hole in the center of the sheet, press into place firmly
- Cutout the speaker hole using a razor blade and remove the excess material, cutout holes for mounting screws
- Install the speaker into the mounting hole and secure, then repeat for the opposite door panel

Have a piece of stereo equipment that has some power supply humming/vibration that was causing a slight ring in the chassis. Applied this to sides and top and it really helped lessen the hum.

I was using this on the bottom of a wood shelf in the attempt to muffle some sound for expansion/contraction, but as much as I tried it would not properly adhere to the bottom of the shelf. Perhaps the product I received was defective, perhaps my use case was non-standard, regardless the product did not meet my needs.

Application of this reduced door vibration from 6.5" door speakers. No more rattling pens and other brick a brack that are in the storage slots. I also took a 4 x4 " leftover piece and patched an inflatable mattress that had a leak on the seam. A little rubber glue and the patch and the bed is now ready for the next inebriated overnight guest.

I have an older Proform CS755 treadmil that works great but the humming noise from the motor is very annoying. We are still building our gym and have hard flooring, bare walls and ceiling that makes the room into a giant echo chamber. I tried putting the treadmill on various pads, mats, carpet etc. I finally took the covers off of the motor area and realized that because the motor is solid mounted onto the frame I was going to have to dampen the virbrations on the frame surfaces. This sound dampening material that is very flexible and easy to cut and shape. This is my second order and so far it has made a great difference.

Worked perfectly to help boost the sound in my vehicles speakers. Easy to cut mold and secure in place behind the speakers to deaden the sound behind the speakers so the sound projects forward. Quality item.

Recently ordered a third box of Siless 80mil and tried a roll of the ABM grey mastic "100% butyl" CLD, and was waiting to install them when the most recent round of testing was released in The Deadening FB group. Surprise, Resonix is #1, but 2nd and 3rd were pretty close between Harmony and NVX. I've heard stories of NVX melting, and the Harmony 36sqft box was the SAME price as the Siless/ABM was together (and 16sqft more material than those 2 together) it was a no-brainer to return those for this box. Much better performer? And 80% more material? Can't wait to install it.

Easy to work with and use a heat gun in areas where you need maximum forming. Also, as soon as you receive it, open the box and unfold the sheets. Some of them might get a real heavy crease. Use the heat gun or lay them on the hood of the vehicle in the sun prior to installing them. Then roller could be better.
