This is stupid and I knew it was going to be when I ordered it, but I do not want to learn macrame or crochet sufficient to improve based on this idea. And it was cheap, installation easy, hats hang but I needed better hooks. But I have a lot of unorganized hats and ADHD so desperate times call for desperate measures. So it helped solve an organization problem quicklyBut for those of you who came to Amazon to be creatively challenged or like to over complicate things here’s what I’d do in a redesign.If I were hanging flat against way, use any handle you’d like to form horizontal arm at the top - a branch (though make sure you prep for life indoor), a old broom handle, an actual set of mounted drape mounting (like bathrooms but really big). I’m assuming you need big area with this, but if you do textile stuff macrame your heart out - or do anything that will form a diamond mesh pattern net to hang as a curtain from ….this is more like a YouTube tutorial. Lmk if you want my advice on the rest: peace
