The best seam ripper ever! It works so well. It's slim, so it easily gets into small spaces. It is also very, very, very sharp. I was ripping a seam, and it slipped and cut my finger pretty badly, I'll be more careful next time! So glad I found this

I had a seam ripper similar to this product and I loved using it, but it had a plastic shaft that held the blade and it broke. I could not find a replacement for the one I had and I saw this seam ripper through Amazon and sent for it. It's great and sharp and just touching the tip of the blade under the stitches to be removed cuts right through them for fast removal. This ripper is all metal and the blade can be replaced as needed. The one thing that could be better on this product is a soft plastic slip on shield when not using. The hard plastic cover is too rigid to easily slip over the blade. Happy with purchase.

A friend of mine won't use a normal seam ripper so I purchased this type to experiment with and figure out which is better. I found that this seam ripper is very sharp and I was able to rip out a large amount of serging thread in a much shorted time. This type of seam ripper definitely has its own way of ripping out seams. I'm I purchased this product.

Probably the worst seam ripper I have tried so far. It isn't nearly as sharp as the little cheap ones. I thought this would be perfect and by reading the reviews it seems some had success with it. It is not sharp enough so I felt as though I was sawing through the threads and the blade is sideways and too large to get into any smaller areas. I am going to return unless i can find another use for it...

I used these to rip seams on a denim jacket. No problem. These are extremely helpful for sewing tasks.You must be careful though it is sharp. Extra blades are helpful!!!
