BAD AUDIO. It works for video capture, but it has issues with certain devices with audio. I have two cameras, an older one, a Sony EX1, on that camcorder, both audio and video work. On my newer camcorder, a Canon XA45, when outputting 1080p @ 60fps, audio does not work. The camera has SDI settings, when switching it to "Level A" the audio cuts out every few seconds. When switching it to Level B, the audio sounds fine, but it the video is green with horizontal lines.

For general SDI capture this works great, and it converts to HDMI for monitoring. While it may look good for most, don't use it for professional capture and coloring. I compared levels captured from this device and a $400 U-Tap on Drastic Scopes and Leader. This device shifted color about 3degress and raised the gammas...the blacks and whites tracked well. My first try with this was a ZOOM call with participants having their company logo as a background. The color and tone from PowerPoint I was sending via a vision mixer wasn't tracking.
