This was purchased to replace another unit from a different manufacturer that suddenly stopped working. It was easy to install and works great. By using the remote you won't even have to get out if your chair to switch between 4 different HDMI units if your TV is like mine that has only to HDMI ports

Bought this to hook up all my retro video game consoles to my TV, which has limited HDMI ports. HDMI adapter switches automatically to whichever console is turned on. The only drawback is there is no on/off switch so it’s powered on all the time (which may not even be a problem, idk). My workaround is to use a power strip and shut everything down when I’m not using it. Overall, great value.

make sure you read the user manual and plug in your devices properly, but everything works well and it is very simple to understand if you understand technology. Highly recommend!

When moving into my off-campus apartment for college, I was concerned about having multiple HDMI input devices for my old Samsung TV. While the TV had two HDMI ports, I needed to connect four HDMI devices (Amazon Firestick, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck Dock, and Blu-ray DVD player) to my TV.Right out of the box was an instruction manual that clearly walked me through how to set it up. First, deliver power to the HDMI switch via a micro-USB cable plugged into an outlet. Second, connect an HDMI cable (not included) from the TV to the switch. Third, add two AAA batteries to the HDMI Switch remote. Fourth, connect the HDMI cables of your other devices to the switch Finally, power it on and press a number 1 through 4 to turn it to the desired device!My current setup has my Firestick on HDMI 1 and the HDMI Switch (Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck Dock, and Blu-ray DVD player) on HDMI 2. When flipping between various outputs on the HDMI switch, it will send a wake-up signal to power them on. For example, when my Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and Blu-ray player is in sleep mode, flipping to their output number on the remote wakes them up from sleep mode and I am ready to watch or game instantly. Gone are the days of walking up to my devices to turn them on!This HDMI switch is truly life-changing and I have noticed no drop in picture quality when moving from my TV's traditional HDMI output to the HDMI switch.If your TV has fewer HDMI ports than the HDMI devices you regularly use, do yourself a favor and pick this up!

I bought this as I was tired of my pair of two toggle type switches I was using to go through my various game and entertainment sources. This is a very smart device! It comes with a remote but you will hardly need to use it! When you turn on the newest device, it will auto search that and display that one; even if you leave say the roku or cable on... So you can play your switch or playstaton, turn that off, and it will return to the roku or cable, as that's the next available source! The only time you need the remote is if you have an instance of multiple "on" sources to pick from. There's zero delay or problems. If you are going to have multiple things on and need to use the remote often: I suggest making a small diagram of what is hooked up where and taping that to your remote. There is ample room. That takes any guess work out of it. It really is a time saver and a quality of life improvement!

Good honest piece of kit. A little on the high side price-wise but build quality is good. From experience, it takes awhile to sync up, so don't go changing inputs too quickly, give the video/ audio signal time to sync up. If it stops working for some reason, pull out the power chord and plug it back in to reboot it.

The simplicity of 4K Ultra HD is great. The power cable supply is good. The 4 connections (IN) is very good for my use. Initial connection and signal was very good to my Smart Samsung 4K TV. The IR remote is very limited and any attempt to place the HDMI Switch in any location other than directly in front is not useable.While the TV was displaying cable channels, I selected another input port, via the remote. blackout and message from the TV was "No Connection" from the source. Troubleshooting found the HDMI is no longer alive and after only 5 months. No moisture, children, or non-technical persons interfered with the device.The Deepin Customer Service representative, Victoria, sent me a polite message and will send me a 5 port HDMI switch with Lifetime warranty and a $20 Amazon gift card. I am pleased with the customer service with this product.
