Using with a pair of Xreal One glasses. It does not work with ultra-wide with 3D or Ultra-Wide (both require full 4k (3840 width resolutions) when connected. If planning on using this with a computer that does not support DP Alt video over usb-c going through HDMI, I was only able to achieve 1080p @ 120hz. Even using display controls on the computer to lock in at 60hz, was given unable to connect display errors on the glasses.Works with Xbox Series X though (since enabling ultra-wide is counterproductive on the console) It may still be worth getting for some.

Product did not work for laptop. Box came opened (seal tape was broken) and missing the charging cable. I still gave it a try but got not signal to my USB C monitor. Added power to the converter and external power to my monitor and nothing. Returned the item as it seems it was a return already.

Guys, most of us think it works. It's wrong; just plugging in the USB C will not do. As mentioned in the "Things You Should Know," you MUST and should need to do this. 3. A charging cable must be used to power up this converter.Steps here. I was urged to CLICK THE RETURN and after going through "Things You Should Know," things changed for me. PLS DONT RUSH wait and do it. IT WILL WORK.. I fell in love with the Rokid AR glasses. In fact I'm wearing them now, connected to my Steam Deck, as I write this review. While the Rokids work directly with the Steam Deck this adapter allows me to charge the Deck while also wearing the AR glasses.

It works very well for DP to USB-C. It also might be one of the few that actually works. The only downside is that it has to take one additional USB port for power output. But if that is not a deal break for you. I would recommend it.

Quick Review:I've tested this adapter with a portable monitor with USB-C DP Alt input and it works well. Just as described.The USB-C to USB-A cable is labeled effectively. Good thing, because there are two male USB-A breakouts at one end and a singular USB-C male input on the other. One USB-A is for powering the adapter in order to drive the signal and the other USB-A is for data transmission between the host PC and the receiving end. This would enable touch functionality of a touch capable display. Other use cases are for AR glasses as well. But I have not tested those.Will update review when I have been able to test further.So far I am satisfied with this purchase and it is money well spent.

I bought it for use with Viture One XR glasses and it works great. I am able to connect a Google TV device and a Nintendo Switch without any issues. I recommend it.

I was able to connect these to my eGPU connected to my laptop and it works flawlessly! It maintains the picture quality well and it also passes audio too. 10/10, would recommend!

I've been looking for a way to connect my consoles (Switch, PS5, Gaming PC) to my Rayneo Air 2s, and this has been great so far.I chose this over a dedicated powered HDMI to USB C cable mainly for it's ability to pack down into the Rayneo Air 2s case. It can be fairly small when the cable is rolled up and will slot right next to my glasses when stored in the case. I can also choose a USB C cable with any length cable I want rather than be stuck to the single cable. The cable is thick, yet pliable, and seems like it will last for a while.Though this is an active adapter, most consoles will have a spare USB slow available so you can power this with a spare USB C cable. It needs 5 volt power and can be supplied from a separate adapter, but I've powered it over a USB C hub connected to my phone, a separate battery bank, and on my Google TV and never had any power or connectivity issues.

This HDMI to USB C adapter worked just as expected and I didn't need to install any drivers or anything, it just worked out of the box with most of my monitors, besides one that had a different aspect ratio it had some issues with thar, but as long as you have a normal 16:9 display, it should work good
