Daughter bought an ikea padded headboard and the mattress store we purchased mattress and adjustable frame said nothing will work. By flipping the leg slide bracket and lowering the slotted t bracket this fit perfectly. Ordered 2 more for her footboard and my headboard.

I have an adjustable bed, and recently wanted to add a headboard to it; however, our adjustable bed base does not have headboard brackets built in, so these were perfect for adding the headboard.These come in a two-pack, and include everything you need for attaching a headboard to your adjustable base.Installation is pretty straightforward, so using the included instructions isn't really necessary for someone handy enough, but there are instructions included, which are easy to follow along with. To install, you simply remove the legs at the corners of the head of the bed, slip the adapter onto the threaded post of your bed's leg, and reattach the leg to the bed. From there, you attach the cross bars, which are adjustable in width, depending on how wide your headboard is, using the included bolts and lock nuts. After that, you can simply attach your headboard, either using the included bolts/nuts, or the mounting hardware that might come with your headboard, or you can use the included adapter plates, which gives you additional mounting options for various mounting configurations of different headboards. These headboard brackets can also be used to mount a footboard as well, and for this, you would simply install these at the foot of the bed, rather than the head.These are thick and sturdy powder coated steel, so they hold the headboard in place really well. And, with the included lock nuts, these should not come loose on their own anytime soon.One thing I should mention, which is a feature of many adjustable bed bases, is that, depending on your current bed configuration, you may have to remove some of the leg height segments from your bed's legs for a heavy headboard to sit properly on the floor, if intended to do so, while also keeping the headboard at a proper level for some of the thick mattresses that often come with adjustable beds. We have all three leg segments on our bed, preferring to keep it at full height, as well as a 14' mattress, and we opted to go with a headboard that includes shelves, which is supposed to sit on the floor and mount to the bed frame; however, given the height of the bed, this would have had the heavy headboard floating, putting a lot of strain on the headboard legs and the mounting brackets, and because our mattress is so thick, it would have caused the headboard to be low behind the mattress, so I did opt to put some furniture risers under the legs of my headboard, giving us more height on the headboard, putting it in the proper position for our bed's configuration.Overall, these brackets are great, were easy to install, and provided an easy solution to a problem. I would recommend these brackets to anyone with an adjustable bed base.

After checking all the reviews and ordering this, got it home and even after drilling holes in my headboard, it would not work on my dream cloud adjustable bedframe top part of my bedframe could not clear the headboard. I’ve never been so frustrated with trying to find the appropriate bracket nothing seems to work.
