The socks that were delivered to us didn't work. Please be reminded that the batteries must be replaced after every 2-6 hours of use - for those socks that do work. You typically get what you pay for and these socks should be removed from the market, especially from AMAZON - since the product is no good. I purchased in November 2024 as a gift to be used while skiing. Our first outing was in late December, and didn't work. We tried again in January without success and by then the return window was closed - so we put them in the garbage.

Living in the mountains where daytime temps can drop down to the low 40's & not being able to retain heat in my feet, I found these to be VERY effective in keeping my feet warm. I charge the batteries overnight, so they're ready to go the next more. HINT: Get 2 pair at a time. Charge one battery pack in the morning so by the time the 1st battery pack does (between 4 & 5 pm), you can switch the battery packs to keep your feet warm ALL day.

These seem to be good socks with a heating element under the ball of the foot. They rely on batteries that you supply rather than a rechargeable battery sold with the socks (two such batteries failed for me when I purchased otherwise similar socks from another seller). Here there are two options: disposable batteries that supply heat for a longer time but add to pollution and waste or rechargeable batteries that will supply heat for a shorter time. I chose the second option, using Panasonic Eneloop AA batteries. These work well and keep my toes toasty in the evening when the floors get cold; the batteries are easily recharged and last a long time. Much less electronic waste.

I got these for my husband and he loves them! He uses them for ice fishing to keep his feet warm.Pros: easy to use, they get really warm, the batteries/heat lasts a good amount of time, the socks themselves are really thick, they keep your feet very warm when you're outdoors, they fit his size 10 feet comfortablyCons: truly can't think of any, my husband loves them and bought another pairIt was recommended to wash these in a garment bag, which I have done just to protect the battery connection spots and to hopefully maintain function of these for a long time.

Put Six new Duracell cell batteries. Sitting in my living room, watching t v an hour and a half later, there was no heat, my feet were still cold!!! The second day I tried them again in the morning and noted that they kept turning off because he flood wire kept pulling out. Finally sat back down so they would not pull out and watch TV for 2 hours and it still was not noticeably warm on my feet. I felt them with my hand and detected a bit of warmth, but obviously not enough to be any good for the feet. The material of the socks themselves was excellent. Set it up for return and upon removing the six new batteries noted that they were 3/4 quarters drained. SO IT COST ME SIX BATTERIES AND Trip TO U.P S. For return, VERY DISAPPOINTED. I seriously question those other reviews that said that they provided warmth to feet outside. I couldn't get that sitting in my seventy degree living room.

These work wonderfully keeping your feet warm, nice and thin so they work in any shoe/boot. I work outside and they’ve been wonderful.A couple of drawbacks: I wish the heating elements were closer to the toes instead of on the ball of the foot. Your toes might still be a little cold with these, though not nearly as bad as without.Second; they EAT batteries. I highly suggest getting yourself 6 rechargeable batteries. At first I used 6 new Energizers and they didn’t even last 2 wears during a full work day.Third: If the batteries do die while you’re still outside, you best have a spare pair of socks with you. Your feet will have been sweating, so the now cold damp socks will freeze. Ouch! So be prepared.

RETUREND. NOT COST-EFFECTIVE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE. I did not read the product info carefully when ordering, asuming batteries were rechargeable.I would spend at least $5-$7 on batteries for every 2-5 hrs of use. After 10-25 hrs of use (2 to 5 days of skiing), depending on heat level, I would have spent in batteries at least the same amount I paid for the socks AND would have disposed of 30 or more batteries, probably in the trash (how many of us actually transport back 30+ used batteries in our luggage to dispose of them responsibly at home?)I ultimately purchased heated socks with rechargeable battery packs that were twice the price of these, but after 5 hrs of skiing on 25-50% power I still had 75% of battery-life left. In 3-4 days of use they made up for the price difference, I didn't need to transport/change batteries AND I could easily control the heat-level and check battery-life through a phone app.I did not test (or even unpack) these socks after reading the instructions, so I cannot comment on their actual quality or functionality. I would, however, give them 1 star because the expense in batteries over time would be simply absurd ($1.00 to $3.50 per each hour of use), and I consider it environmentally unconscionable to sell a product that requires disposing of 6 or more batteries after every use.The only reason I give them two stars instead of one is that the product information is NOT misleading -- it states clearly that they require 6 disposable AA batteries for 2 to 5 hous of heat, both on the online description and printed instructions. Not reading the info before ordering was my mistake.

This was a great purchase for winters. These socks has kept my wife warm in the cold Canadian winters. And battery also lasts long. It just fits like regular socks with the battery though.
