Do not Buy! Worked well initially, but the battery connection is badly designed and easily breaks as it sticks out and can bend and snap. When I tried to contact the vendor regarding this issue they did not respond.

I bought this heated vest for my husband who works outside a lot. He loves it!! Its keeps him nice and warm while he works. It is also very comfortable and is a nice layering option for the cold winter months. Would recommend going up a size. My husband likes his clothing oversized so I ordered a size 2xl. He is 5’11”, 185lbs.

Love the concept. Fit is really good and the weight of the vest is not bad and the quality appears to be very good. Easy to operate once you know what the buttons are for. The warm up period is automatic and that is a good feature as it will go from red (max heat) to green automatically (medium heat). Blue is the lowest heat setting.The instruction manual NEEDS to have updated information wise as to the operation of the vest.Battery life is NOT as long as described for each setting. And it takes OVER 24 hours to fully charge when used to the full extent of the battery. Serious drawback. Buy an extra battery or 3 if you live in a really cold climate and use this for prolonged periods due to the long recharge period.Does provide good heat levels for each section of the vest, although it will not allow me to operate just the neck setting alone or it will shut off completely. If you dress in layers and use a lower temp (green for medium) then it will extend the heat available for a longer time frame if you have a coat over it and keep you warm. That is if you have a coat to fit over it. Although I don’t feel as if the vest is terribly bulky. The pockets are of good size and convenient.If you use the vest for a little time. Go inside, shut it off and remove the vest, you have to press the button on the battery pack to get to turn back on to go outside. You can’t use the buttons ON the vest to turn it back on. I thought that was a drawback as well. And it’s NOT stated in the booklet. Instructions are not that good.Customer service? Not so much. I emailed them 3 weeks ago and no reply as of this writing to respond to my questions.The 3 star rate is because of the no reply from customer service and adequate at best battery life during use although it does work well.
