The kayak and gear leash set worked well for multiple items on our last trip. I used them to secure my paddle and tackle box while fishing. The swivel is a nice touch that helps prevent the cable from twisting up. The cable is a good length and allows items to be moved around the kayak with little interference, but coils up nice and small also. I found this style Velcro strap to be more secure than a style I have used previously that is just a loop around the paddle without the metal rings. BONUS USE: The leash also makes a great makeshift stringer. The carabiner on each end seems to be of good quality and allows for different options when attaching the leash to gear or a kayak.

More than once I’ve lost my set up on a cast. Not anymore. These securely fasten me to my rig.

Picked these nice-looking lanyards up for having a safety leash on my fishing rods when set up in outrigger positioning. These rod straps are pretty simple to use and pair perfectly with outrigger-capable fishing rod holders. The cord portion felt robust enough to resist over 30 pounds of pulling force with no sign of damage - could be much more but I was not attempting to break these and the likelihood for catching a 30+ lb fish without hearing it just isn't likely. Carabineers included are not overly robust or weak, they look properly sized to use with this setup. Overall, everything is paired really well for using with fishing rods and better priced than some of the more established offerings.

These really work to keep the fishing pole tethered to me while kayaking. You attach one end to the pole near the reel and the other to my belt. It stretches out far enough for a good cast and does not get tangled up in the pole.

For this price I was not expecting something so well made. The coiled leash stretches and rebound, within a thick coating is a metal braid. These should have no issue retaining what they are connected to. The four included metal clips are solid with a strong spring that closes the opening making them quick to attach and detach from your gear. My plan is to attach one to my phone case and the other to keep my kayak paddle attached so neither will slip away unnoticed. Highly recommend these leashes for they seem a good balance between a teether that is lightweight yet strong.

This is a quality pair of leashes for fishing rods, kayak paddles and other items. The coiled lanyard is a steel cable coated in plastic. I can easily stretch it out over six feet and it returns back to its original length. The swivel on one end of the lanyard is a nice touch to reduce tangling.I like the carabiners. The are a wire gate style carabiner which I've found is durable and holds up very well in saltwater environments. I've never had one of these types of carabiners fail on me.The rod wrap is sized just right to fit around a kayak paddle. It fits great around a standard reel seat or rod grip. It is a little long if you want to wrap around the rod blank. It still works, but there is not much of the Velcro holding it.

This works perfectly for adding extra peace of mind by securing my multi rod pieces all together on my gear bag. Actually lost a rod section when it fell out of my backpack.

I got this set to make sure that my paddleboard oars don't float away from me. Unfortunately, I was surprised and not in a good way by how thin these straps are. The double ring connector is especially flimsy. I fully expect a good yank will likely break it. The strap turned out to be quite short too. It's barely enough length, even when almost fully extended, to provide enough clearance to operate the oar. Overall, this set does the job... barely. I would not expect it to last particularly long.
