This heavy-duty pulley kit has good quality bolts and nuts to mount the pulleys. The pulleys are built with solid rivets and thicker steel than my over 30 year old original pulleys. The original pulleys were built with hollow rivets holding the two pulley halves together, which allowed the pulley halves to separate near the rivet that failed on one of my old pulleys... Solid rivets makes these new pulleys much more durable.After installing the heavy-duty pulleys, I then sprayed some white lithium grease in the bearing gap. I expect that these garage door pulleys will easily last for several decades.

These pulleys tend to be consumables in an overhead door mechanism. The ball-bearing "races" wear out, creating too much slop. The wheel gets badly out of alignment, and it fails to turn any longer. I like to have spare pulleys on hand for when one or more are close to failure.This set replaced an old set, two of which were near failure. The new ones fit just fine, even though the bolts were larger (17mm vs 14mm).All in all, a useful set of spare parts for an overhead door.

These rollers are more heavy duty than the last ones that I removed. The ball bearings roll really smooth which is also better than the last ones too. I am pretty sure that they cost almost as much as the last ones that I installed too. Overall, these are good heavy duty rollers for the price.
