My baby Piper is obsessed with these. She looks forward to her squirrel blocks twice a day and aside from avocado, this is her favorite thing which makes me happy because it’s also supposed to be really good for her. I do wish they would sell bulk packaging because it really does add up.

I buy these for my rescued, non-releasable, flying squirrel. He really seems to like them. He gets so excited when I feed them to him. They keep him very healthy and happy!

These blocks are a fantastic product made by a wonderful and caring small company! My wild squirrels love them, and these products are perfectly nutritionally balanced. I have been ordering them for several years now. I wanted to provide treats that contained the right nutrients in the correct amounts, especially for the pregnant/nursing moms, any who show up with injuries, or ones that may have a health issue. I also offer them walnuts, but a diet that is too high in nuts (even walnuts) can contribute to health problems. (This is especially the case for squirrels living in captivity -such as those being rehabilitated - but it can also be an issue for wilds if they eat so many nuts that they don't do enough natural foraging. ) I follow some Facebook groups that are moderated by licensed squirrel rehabilitators, and I have learned that many rehabbers feed their little patients these blocks, once they are weaning off of formula. I recommend you to put the bag in the freezer as soon as they arrive. Since they are a natural food product, and are baked fresh upon being ordered, this is important. I freeze the bag, then I take just a couple of them out each day and put them in a small ziplock baggie in my refrigerator. That way, I have a few blocks that are thawed by the time my furry little visitors show up. I have never had a squirrel refuse to eat these. They seem to really enjoy the taste; but, if you have difficulty getting a squirrel to try one, I have read that you can put a little smear of unsalted peanut butter or almond butter on them until the squirrel figures out how yummy these blocks are! :)

Henry’s Healthy Blocks is an alternative nutritional everyday diet for your backyard friends! A product made specifically for a squirrel’s diet to ensure your squirrel grows up happy, healthy, and non-malnourished. This product is made specifically for picky eaters who refuse to eat alternative block food such as Mazuri Blocks and was recommended to me through multiple squirrel rehabilitation websites. I have had personal experience with this product for about the last 5 months. I have rehabilitated two southern grey squirrels and one southern flying squirrel. I transitioned all three of them off of formula by using Henry’s Healthy Blocks, they absolutely love them and are thriving. Although it may be a little expensive it is definitely worth the purchase. The blocks are cooked fresh and are you required to freeze immediately upon arrival for your animal’s health. I highly recommend this product for your squirrel baby’s.
