The color is not as turquoise as I expected but I don’t even care. They are lovely, good quality and have a nice weight to them. I will be wanting mugs and dessert plates to match.

I was pleased with the apparent quality, shape, and size of these dinner plates. The color, however was very disappointing. Instead of the vibrant reactive glazed turquoise color shown and described on the seller's page, the plates I received were a more matte... almost pastel aqua. That isn't a bad color in and of itself, but it is not what I needed, so I am hoping to return the plates for a refund. I have noted that several other reviewers have described this color discrepancy with the dinner plates as well. I had also ordered the 32 oz. soup bowls but have not yet received them. I am contemplating cancelling that order since I had ordered these to be a set that would complement some other dishes I have in a floral design with the turquoise color in it. I'm so sad.

I ordered as a place setting decorating for my kitchen table but seriously thinking of ordering more as I fell in love with these. Beautiful color.

I ordered both the turquoise 10” plates alongside the smaller 8” plates. Immediately I could tell that the colour was more of a sky blue, which is dramatically lighter than the photos shown on the product listing. These 10” plates also arrived with less of the brown glazed stippling/edges, and therefore looks mismatched. The logo on the bottom of the plates also looks outdated and cheesy like an infomercial—not quality ceramics.Given how expensive these were, I would have expected more attention to consistency. Disappointed these don’t tie in with our colour scheme.UPDATE: The seller of these plates connected with me and offered to refund the purchase price because of the discrepancy. My rating for this item still stands, although I really appreciate their customer service in this instance.
