The salt shakers were a big disappointment to me. The lids are so difficult to get on & equally difficult to maintain.

The quality of these shakers exceeded my expectations with big enough holes to use course ground pepper and actually get something on your food without shaking your arm off. Clear glass makes seeing different seasonings very easy. We use salt, pepper and seasoned salt. I would use the fourth one for Cajun seasoning but I broke it (knocked it onto concrete off the grill). Super easy to clean and fill.

Unscrew the top, use a piece of junk mail as a funnel to fill up the pepper shaker & you're good to go. We take them out when company comes over, so we have extra S & P available around the tables. Instead of hearing "can you please pass the salt & pepper shaker" there's a set in front of you.
