I examined the 10 coupling nuts for flaws but could not find any. The zinc finish looks good. The nuts had a finishing step that smoothed all the corners. The hexagonal edges are flat without nicks for good wrench grip along the entire length. I checked several of the nuts for proper threading by inserting a 3/8" bolt. It threaded on smoothly with finger pressure; neither tight nor loose but just right.At $7.95 for a pack of ten 3/8" coupling nuts this high quality product has earned five stars from me. The price seems reasonable, and comes down a bit per unit when ordering higher quantities.

These are perfect for connecting 3/8 all thread or even to drill a hole into the bottom of a wood support leg and make a leveling bolt adjuster. Thanks

What can one say about this sort of product? I can say that it is precision made and was a perfect fir for joining two 12" rods. The thread pitch is 3/8-16. They are a bit under 2" in length with threads the full length.Ten were included in the box so i have more for future products. Best of all is that they are budget priced.

These coupling nuts work very good. The hex outside makes it easy to lock the jam nuts tight. Over all very good.

I use these for making attachments for my slide hammer, which has 3/8 inch threads on the end. Works perfectly.

I build a lot of go-kart type kids vehicles and to save money I have to build my own steering arms with adjustable rod ends (Heim joints) at each end of the arm. The coupling nuts allow me to weld the nut into the end of 1/2" conduit without fear getting welding slag on the threads...as often happens if I use regular sized nuts. My only wish would be that they would make inexpensive coupling nuts like these but with left handed threads. That way I could build a steering arm that was far easier to adjust while being super easy to weld up. Even so, these right hand threading coupling nuts are perfect for my particular application.
