Thanks to this product, I was able to remove wiring from the ceiling fan junction box not necessary for the operation of the ceiling fan. Three changed I would like: a more robust hinge which can handle old house stiff wiring (screws on top provide support to the hinge, which is great), a octagon shape for minimal wire bending or if the square shape is kept at least port entry on the north and south end of the box. Construction grade star bit screws would also be preferred. Again great product because it solved my problem. This product is a great way to tidy up wiring.

Have been trying using standard boxes for so long; these are awesome for when you need to expand an existing circuit with very little wire slack. Combine with lever style wire connectors and they are like a dream come true.

I've been working on my garage and ran some wire for additional lights. I ended up having to splice the wire and this worked perfectly to cover the splice.
