OEM Shower wand bracket did not provide enough downward angle to utilize proper in tub, the lowest angle had shower steam at back of tub. This knuckle installed in 30 seconds between the shower wand head and hose and provides another 45 degrees of downward deflection. A perfect solution that matched our OEM flat black fixture perfectly. It took a lot of searching to find this part for this solution. Highly recommended!

The Chinese manufacturers of this putatively swiveling adapter were unable to get it right. To their credit, they did send me another unit but this one also did not swivel. At their request, I emailed them TWO video clips showing that both units did not swivel. When, in exasperation, I processed a refund with Amazon, they stopped communicating with me. While that is understandable, their defective part wasted a lot of my time and effort. And driving to a Whole Foods Market to drop it off was especially bothersome since it was a trip that I would otherwise not have made.

I am installing a shower head with a slider to mount a handheld attachment. Unfortunately the bend in the shower arm made the installation impossible. With this ball joint I was able to take enough of the bend out to mount everything safely. The slider is mounted to the wall and will keep the ball joint from flopping down as some buyers have mentioned. My installation is not complete, if I do run into an issue with the ball joint I'll update my review.

Heavy price of metal and matte black.My shower nozzle needed to point more downward as to reduce distance where water hits floor in my curbless shower and this adapter solved my issue.Does not leak, make sure to add teflon -plumber tape.

The pipe thread had a flat spot. Teflon tape did not work. Pipe dope resolved the issue.(to an exceptable level)

This is a well made item and has all the range of motion you would ever want or need. If I had the ability to make such an item I would make it exactly like this one. In this day and age it is sometimes hard to get exactly what you want or need but this fits the bill.
