My kid's school does cross-country skiing in the winter for P.E. They always complained about the heavy bulky snow pants. These are great! It feels like you are wearing regular pants, but gives that added protection and warmth.

These seem great, aside from such narrow ankle openings and no way to open them up (ex: elastic, zipper, etc.) so they could fit over boots to prevent snow from getting into the boots and making the kid’s feet wet. The fit is pretty skinny/tall—long legs and a fairly narrow waist.
