HIDIZS S8 Pro Robin is a new model upgraded from the previous generation S8 DAC dongle. With outstanding performance and an impressive output level of 2 VRMS@32Ω, and the balance port thrust is increased to 160mW+160Mw@32Ω.
The S8 Pro Robin's output power and extremely low total harmonic distortion give you more headphone options along with a pure, sibilance-free amplification experience.
The S8 Pro "Robin" has a special appearance design, and the middle frame is made of a single piece of aviation aluminum alloy. There are flying wing-shaped display structures on both sides of the middle frame. There are three physical buttons on one side, which can control the volume and switch filter effects.

A delight to use on a laptop, in my case, I discovered an extraordinary synergy with one of my NEX602 IEMS (with extended highs) that really surprised me (4.4 output). For me that's enough and it solves my demand for compactness, compared to my Class A desktop Amps (but only with one of my mentioned IEMS). Personally, thanks to these products I didn't spend more than 100 dollars on my small 'portable' HI-END on a 4.4mm Cable, DAC dongle and IEMS.NOTE: I put a vinyl wrap on it to protect the black glass.I did not receive the USB type A to USB C adapter.(Don't complain because I bought it on sale for $38)

Aluminum alloy frame with tempered glass on the top and bottom. The logo has an LED that changes color dependent on which of the 6 sampling rates you have chosen (via the on-device buttons by pressing both volume UP & DWN simultaneously).Easily switch between 6 digital filters that can be changed on-the-fly using the physical buttons on the S8 Pro. Use the UP or DWN button to change the volume and the middle circular button to play/pause. You have the option to use either it's 3.5mm single-ended output or the 4.4mm balanced output interfaces. It utilizes a Cirrus Logic DAC chip which is a commonly used dual CS43131 audio IC known for its reliability, consistent performance, and power efficiency. USB C and various adapters (USB A, lightning) make it very easy to switch between laptop, phones, and tablets.With a pricetag well under $100 at the time of ordering, it is very affordable for an entry-level device to break into the world of HiFi IEM's. It's form factor and build quality are very nice. 6 filter options to choose from with the ability to change from the S8 Pro itself. Great compatibility with various OS's and devices. Neutral-to-warm sound profile.Quite happy with this we'll built, highly portable device.It does everything I would ask at this price and it's hard to find flaws. I'll update once I've used it for a longer period if I have anything to change.

Los primeros días funcionaba perfectamente, pero después de 5 días , se calentaba demasiado, hasta que dejó de funcionar y me daño hasta un par de IEM
