This dry food gets a thumbs up from me! The biggest selling point, and the reason I chose it, is the lack of artificial food coloring. I'm a firm believer that just because something looks pretty, doesn't mean it's healthy. And harmful additives like dyes are a definite no-no for my little budgie. Knowing this food is free of those unnecessary and potentially harmful ingredients gives me real peace of mind.While it's a great base, I provide fresh vegetables and fruits daily. I have 9 parakeets and they all love this food. With other bird seeds I have tried, some of my birds do not seem to go to it as well.All of my birds are vibrant in color ranging from blue-grey, yellow-green, and white-turquois. Their energy levels are great and they seem happy and content.As long as this bird seed is available, I will continue to buy it. Their health and happiness is what counts.
