Bought one last year, did not work this year. I was forgiving as I had left it outdoors all year. Bought one this year. Never worked, tried every possible solution and let Amazon’s ridiculously sort return window expire. Contacted high wild. They asked me for my order number which I provided. Never heard another word from them.

Worked the first time I set timer but hasn’t spun on timer command since. I’ve checked the battery on this multiple times and it’s still set to the correct time. So it isn’t a battery issue, it’s something with the spinner/feeder

I've used this on different feeders, from barrels to 5 gal. hanging buckets. easy to set up, operate, and holds battery charge for entire deer season while feeding twice a day.

Grundsätzlich finde ich das Konzept sehr gut, habe den Feeder für unsere Hühner genutzt.Leider nur sehr kurz.Der Miniaturmotor, welcher den "Propeller" dreht hat nach nicht einmal 4 Wochen den Geist aufgegeben. Werde nun auf einen Austauschmotor mit Getriebe für etwas weniger Umdrehungen aber dafür mehr Drehmoment wechseln

The unit's are compact, easy to install and with good AA batteries (I use Bevigors) batter changes are few and far between. They do a good job of scattering corn and if foreign objects are kept out of the corn I've never had a jam.However, with the test function failing on two units in a row, I have no interest in buying another, as the feeder I'm using them on is on a 10 foot tower that I climb, then have to essentially reprogram the unit to a feeding time that I've set, e.g, 7:30am, at which point the feeder goes off and throws corn in my face! Then I have to reset the time. It's just not worth the hassle.

Item arrived today. Package arrived in good nick, unit seems bell built but, I cannot currently get into it.The lid is so tight.I've tried all the normal things. Damp towel leather sofa for grip.Now I'm trying to expand the lid to get it to free.

This feeder is better than expected. I used it to replace another feeder.This one is bigger and sturdier than the previous one. Very easy to install. Highly recommended.

I bought this to replace a dead motor on my tripod drum feeder. It fits perfectly . It would also be a good solution for a DIY bucket feeder. Just cut a hole in the both of the bucket, mount this motor and hang the bucket from a branch using rope. Been working for several weeks without issue. Takes AA batteries and easy to program with up to 4 feeding times with different durations each day.

This is great. At first I was skeptical, but now I’m a believer. Drilled a hole in a 5gal bucket, 4aa batteries, and a bag of corn later and we’re off!Easy to program - it gives 4 different times to schedule. Each programmed run time can be programed for multiple seconds of corn slingingI’m honestly impressed. Been using for 6weeks now with no issues.Comes with all hardware needed.Throws corn in about a 20ft diameter when it’s at 6ft high. Not bad.

can only program 4 times daily...battery life unknow as i've only had 3 days...seems to function ok...
