Not what I was expecting, comes out in a hard cylinder that you have to cut off … Took abit for my gecko to get used to it.. also needed to feed him with tongs as I was not holding that with my fingers

I had high hopes, but my guys hated this product. I couldn't get them to touch it after the first taste. If your gecko likes the flavor of it, I can see how it would be quite convenient though.

My leopard gecko loved the taste of this! He ate a lot of it and always kept him full so it did its job. The texture is like a gel and does not smell great lol. i’ve bought this several times so it’s great for the money. My gecko did grow out of his however, as he doesn’t eat it anymore. thai could just be my gecko though. highly recommend!

When our elderly gecko stopped eating live food she became weak and lethargic. We purchased this and began feeding her back to health. She seemed to love the taste, and ate a little more each time, that was over two years ago now, and she is happy and healthy. The item is a ggis size, great quality and good value for money, its certainly cheaper than live food. It does smell a bit potent, but nothing too bad.

Love this product, have ordered it numerous times. My leopard gecko loves this stuff compared other “Leo” insect substitutes, of course a true insect diet is ideal for leopard geckos but where I live it can sometimes be hard to get live bugs of decent size all year round, this has become my perfect winter substitute because he greedily takes it and helps him keep weight on. Definitely recommend.

I loved this, my gecko would not eat for months and when I ordered this it saved her life and she started eating and is doing amazing now.

After about 1 week, my package the food was in, had swollen up, and later exploded scaring the living daylights out of every living thing in our house, as it sounded somewhat like a firecracker going off at 3AM, and made a huge mess. I followed the instructions to the best of my ability, kept the cap on tight, and had it in the refrigerator, but maybe I'm supposed to open it every now and then? My geck is picky, like most, and pretty much wanted nothing to do with the food. With a little trickery, I got my ol girl to eat this, and she seemed to like it just fine, but she wouldn't try it again, instead looking at it like it was an alien. Maybe if you fed it to them from an early stage, they might be more used to it, but for mine it was a no go.

Was worth a try! I have a young, three month old male gecko. I bought this hoping that it would be something he would eat in addition to his crickets, roaches and mealworms. The only time I’ve gotten him to eat it was the first time I offered it to him… Ever since then every time I offer it he sniffs and then backs away from it! And believe me, he never turns down food! In spite of the rave reviews for most people, it does not work for my gecko!

My leopard gecko is notorious for being a picky eater and recently developed a mouth ulcer. He refused all his regular meals so I was hoping this would work. I was only able to get him to eat it once and never again. Also worth mentioning that this is to be kept in the fridge after opening so I would spend time slowly warming up the portion I was trying to feed him. I gave this a 4⭐ review because I can see how this would be a great alternative to dried/canned food but if they like live, this might not work.

My gecko once had a bad shed that had damaged her eyes so she cannot see well and as a result, cannot hunt well. Used to have to feed her what I could describe as gecko formula out of a syringe as a recommendation from my vet. My gecko didn't care for it and snubbed it a lot and it was just a hassle for the both of us. In my search for freeze-dried crickets (thinking that might be a better way), I found this. My gecko LOVES this and she is looking so much healthier! This is a must-have if you have a special needs gecko! I have seen reviews talking about the smell, but it has not been *that* bad in my experience and I hardly smell it at all.

I am new to Leopard Geckos, but use Hikari gel for my adult bearded dragon. My Leopard Gecko took to this feed immediately. It is a little chewy for a baby so I cut it into small sections for now. Her toilet habits are regular and she is growing well just on this food. It’s an easy feed especially if you have someone tending your reptile who is squeamish about insects. The only drawback is it is a bit pricey for the amount given. Hope this helps someone!
