The worms were shipped out fast! We were having a cold front come through when I ordered them (10° to 15° nights) and the worms were stuck in the delivery system for 5 days. I thought for sure they would have froze and died. However, the worms were packaged with care and arrived healthy. I'm happy, the chickens are happy, the ducks are happy. Everybody is happy!

I've really had a hard time finding good wax worms. Fleet farm and scheels have been my go to, but seemed like half the worms were black. I first ordered the wax worms at the end of last year and was pleasantly surprised. Same thing this year, couldn't find any good ones so this is the second and third time I ordered online. Mind you, I still had a few black worms, but very, very few. The only problem is you have to allow plenty of time since the delivery is @ a week, but I allow for that now. I will continue to order online as they are better quality and seem to last longer!

We found a few months ago a baby Blue jay that was kicked out of nest due to physical issues, since I raised birds for many decades I hand fed it then graduated to dry food and wax worms which it loves, these are large and fresh and we put a piece of fruit with them wrapped in a towel and kept in upper part of fridge ( warmest)

... because I found myself not wanting to use these worms because they are packed in small wood shavings. It gets stuck to the worms and it's really annoying when you're trying to feed 4 lizards without giving them wood bits. Otherwise they looked healthy and the right amount as described.

If you only knew how happy my reptiles are to see these blue cans 😂. Once again they are great and were never disappointed. Thank you so much

I recently purchased a small container of 25 waxworms at a local pet store to supplement the diet of my carnivorous invertebrate pets—nonpoisonous scorpions. However, I decided it would be more economical to buy 500 waxworms on Amazon. They arrived quickly and were housed in two well-ventilated containers with suitable medium. None were dead upon arrival, and they showed no signs of metamorphosis, so I was glad to receive what I paid for. I divided them into several containers and placed them in a cool location to suppress their development. Several good YouTube videos provide excellent instructions on maintaining and culturing waxworms.

I used these wax worms to feed my reptilian monsters. They arrived in 2 blue containers and with substrates. A large portion of the worms are alive and well, as you can see from the pictures. There are a few that were DOA, but that's to be expected. Even when I go to my local pet store (mom&pop and corporate owned), there are always a few when you purchase a large bulk. I tried to dig through and separate the dead ones and there are still a few in the containers, but most of them are out.In the little tray, there are 36 wax, just so you can see the size/quantity comparison from the dish vs the container to kind of Guage how many worms there are. Because I'm not going to sit there and count. Lol. But I'm satisfied with my order. 🙂
