Die Länge von 15mm und die Breite von 5mm machen die Stifte vielseitig einsetzbar und gut handhabbar, wenn montiert. Das Einsetzen gestaltet sich nicht so einfach, wie erwartet, liegt aber wohl vor allem an den billigen Stiftstangen, welche beim Ansehen zerfallen. Einzelne Stifte sind ähnlich wie beim Tacker kaum mehr einsetzbar. Hier kommt noch erschwerend hinzu, dass der Treiber auch für größere Stifte zu verwenden ist, die kleinen also gar nicht mehr in einer Führung gehalten werden.Für stolze 75€ ist dann aber eine effiziente und makellosen Fertigstellung von Fotorahmen möglich. Die Zeitersparnis bei der Einrahmung ist definitiv spürbar und ein großer Pluspunkt für dieses Produkt. Die Justierung der Einschlagstiefe per Drehung ermöglicht es, die Tiefe der Punkte je nach Holzart und Rahmenanforderungen einzustellen.

I ordered this HM515 Manual Point Driver because, as a new woodworker, I wanted to try my hand at framing. This driver is really easy to use. I was worried it might be hard to pull the trigger but I did not have any issues at all. The quality seems nice. My projects are holding together as they should.

I've used a similar product when make frames. Not sure what it is about cutting miters but I find that satisfying. The points that came with this where broken apart and loose...making loading a real challenge. The driver is able to drive into soft woods really easily but not so good on hard woods. Almond and oak frames it didn't work all that well. It does have an adjustment knob to get it to drive them harder which helps adjust how deep go into the wood, but it only really works when the wood is soft. Might be better off with an electric or pneumatic point driver.

Very study, not sure it is worth what I paid but was in a rush. Certainly a tool that will last a good while. Shame that they didn’t include more tabs.

Use it for framing one picture. The mechanism that propels the tacks moves it slightly. There is no customer support for this product. QR code leads to Chinese only website about the company. It is out of my period of returning it by one month. I wish Amazon would consider the availability of customer service when they choose products to sell.

Prior to using this I would use a stapler or a brad nailer to keep the backing in place on things I framed around the house. This yields more consistent results that look pretty professional, but you'd have to be doing a lot more framing that the occasional family photo for this to be worthwhile.

I was repairing a shadow box and found that it was missing many of the retainers for the back board. I ordered this tool to install new points and it worked perfectly for the task. It came with the points that I needed and it was easy to use. In less than a few minutes from opening the package, I had installed all of the points that the shadow box required. Very pleased with this tool!

This might work in soft pine but, even at its highest setting, it could not embed a point in the fir I used to build my storm windows. Points barely entered the surface and I could easily pull them out with my fingers.Also, the box of points arrived with a lot of them broken into small groups of 2 or 3 or a dozen, making them difficult to put into the gun, and risking jamming the gun if I did.

La produit en lui même semble costaud.Pour ceux qui se proserais la même question que moi, l'agraphe est insérée dans le bois à 5 dixième de la surface d'appuis de l'agrapheuse.J'enlève une étoile car le packaging est discutable, il est arrivé en morceaux et les ramettes d'agraphes sont cassées à plusieurs endroits, beaucoup de petits morceaux ce qui est déliquat pour recharger la machine.
