Way too wide for ankle boots. And non returnable. Find a different seller l to buy from as there are many many cheaper options on Amazon to buy Velcro straps from. My mistake for not checking if returnable before purchasing.

Love these to keep my leggings in my boots. They work like a charm. Don't use if you're wearing thigh-highs. For that you need the stirrups. But these are great for boots with a shorter shaft.

These are great to use for boots that are calf height to retain that neat and tucked in pant look. For short boots, I use small pant/mattress clips. These are also good for holding pants tight when riding a bike. I loved mine.

My daughter loves to wear boots, but I hate the sloppy look of when pants are poking out. What I especially like about these, is that they wrap around your pants with Velcro. Very easy for my daughter to put on and take off. Back when I was a kid, we had clips that you had to fasten to the cuff of your pants that made a stirrup. Those took time to put on & quite difficult for kids to use by themselves. The only issue we have is where my daughter puts them when she takes them off so she doesn't misplace them! I did buy a second pair because of that! She's doing better about putting them inside the boots when she takes them off.

These little things work pretty well. They do sort of pull your pants down a wee bit if you put them on too tight which mostly feels funny but no one else would notice. Overall, I it's a decent solution if your jeans tend to bunch at the knees!

These boot straps aren't perfect, but they are as close as I can find. I wear with my boots every time and am very happy I bought them. I heard about them from others who wore riding boots, but I could never find them at any shoe stores, which I found odd. Even the ones with clips you attach to your pant leg, which I also bought (they only work with long pants and clips can hurt if you place them where they run across your ankle bone). These boot straps are so much better! They hold your pants down well so you don't get baggy knees above your boot top, which I hate. The boot straps work best if you adjust them while standing since sitting automatically makes the knees baggy. If you adjust them too tight, well then you may have circulation issues. LOL Right now I only have one pair of skinny jeans so I really need these to slim down my straight leg jeans and not be poofy. I even wear some of my jean capris from summer with the boot strap to hold the bottoms in my boot, which allows me to wear my capris in Winter, stretching my wardrobe! Longer capris work better obviously; the straps don't show above your boot since you can place them lower on your leg. They do tend to move over time so you need to readjust occasionally, especially if you are alternating from sitting and standing a lot. Sometimes, at least when I wear my capris, they adjust upwards and might be seen from the top of your boot so ensure you place it low enough below the top of your boot. I just found these great boot cuffs on etsy.com, which should prevent them from showing at all. I can't wait to get them. I didn't think to check amazon for them, I'll have to do that next! Anyway, I highly recommend these boot straps.
