This kit included everything I needed to make my mulberry jam. The tools are well made and look like they will last. I completed 2 dozen jars of jam with this kit. Good value for what is included.

I grew up in a family that canned hundreds of jars of different products every year. When I left home, I thought I was past that activity, but recently, we have been experimenting with canning, and are seeing how fun and satisfying it can be. And with our fig trees now 4 years old, we are having so much fresh figs that canning them almost has become a requirement. (We did try drying some last year, but were not happy how they came out.)These tools are the basics that are needed for canning. The remaining things that are needed we already have, so this set was perfect for our needs.The tools are basic quality, and work very well. They all are stainless steel and thus should last for many many years - probably the rest of our lives. They are strong and sturdy. They do what they are required to do.I like the matching red handles - it makes them easy to gather and find when we need to use them.Decent quality canning tools. Canning can be fun, and these tools can help make it happen.
