Light weight. Must be bolted to wall or floor. I would not use this as a primary safe, but works great as a secondary

This item really needs to be advertised as a gun CABINET, not a safe. I bought this on Amazon looking to save a few bucks, and I got what I paid for. That said, it’s not awful. It’s slim, lightweight, and can be bolted to a concrete floor or wall studs. It has a set of emergency keys, an electronic keypad, and a finger sensor. Despite this, it feels like this cabinet can easily be defeated with a crowbar and hammer in about 2 minutes. The “alarm” might be enough to startle a toddler, but don’t rely on it being loud enough for your neighbor to hear. If you are looking for something to keep your EDC and/or shotgun away from curious fingers in a home with at least one adult present, this might be for you.If you are looking for something to secure your firearms against a determined intruder, spend the money on a heavy safe.

If you’re looking for a thin, convenient safe to store a few rifles, handguns, and valuables, this is a great option. It’s of sturdy construction, easy to install, and has prefabricated holes to secure the safe to wall and floor.

Doesn’t really fit my duck gun but fits my M500A short barrel and almost 25 shells in the door, the lock is pretty solid, it says 3 gun 2 pistol storage but I swear I can fit another 4 rifles (all be it stacked together very tightly) and another 2 pistols in the top cabinet, I do like that the safe can be opened via key honestly I probably would buy again for a car safe or just another cheapie gun safe.

Firstly, this isn't going to stop someone super determined with tools from getting into it, but they're going to need some time to do so, and a lot of heavy, expensive safes are going to fall into that category as well.I bought this to keep my home defense shotgun in my master bedroom, quickly accessible if (hopefully never) needed, but safely and responsibly locked away from my kids. For this purpose, it's excellent value for money. The packaging was superb, and the unit arrived in pristine condition. I mounted it to a wall stud so it won't fall on anyone or be easily moved. The included hardware is more than adequate for this. The biometric feature works quickly and accurately every time, accepting my thumb print and rejecting all others. The interior light is a nice touch for accessing in the dark, and just bright enough to help you find your way. The emergency key and emergency USB-C backup battery port ensure I'll never get locked out. The failed access attempt and vibration alarms work as stated. They aren't super loud, but enough to discourage a mischievous child. The cabinet also has a low battery alarm with periodic beeps to ensure you top off the 4 required AA batteries when needed. The door shelves, pistol slings, and interior lockable drawer are nice features and are all adequate. The unit is attractive enough to not be an eyesore, and is appropriately sized.I docked one star as my shotgun has a tactical grip stock which required me to put it on the far right, as the door shelves prevented me from closing it, otherwise. Whether or not you'd actually get 3 long guns in here depends on their setup and dimensions, so just bear that in mind if you're trying to load this up. In fairness, if I had a couple other long guns with vanilla stocks with the appropriate barrel lengths, I could fit all 3. Lastly, the build quality/robustness of the cabinet is quite good, but not exceptional. All in all, this is a great value and I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Great safe, perfect size for what I need! Love that it has an additional lock box inside, felt lined interior and light! Finger print scanner works perfect and is quick to get into!

First off, the packaging was over the top. Steel protective packing corners, and a corrugated 1/ 2" blanket around the cabinet. In case you were wondering, it comes completely assembled and arrived in perfect condition.Secondly, if your looking for a safe to protect a $20,000 gun collection, you might look elsewhere, but if you want a secure cabinet to keep little fingers and all but the most determined thieves away from your weapon, this is worth your consideration. Now onto the reviewThe hardware for securing the cabinet to the wall or floor is appropriate for concrete or block, so I used two 5/16"×3 1/2" lag bolts with a 1 1/2" fender washes.it took me a minute to figure out the "A" button to set the code and fingerprints. I entered my index fingerprint 4 or 5 times altering position of the print slightly each time. If I have to get into the cabinet in a emergency, I don't want worry about placing my finger perfectly.i used a foot stool to hold the cabinet above the floor molding during installation in case I ever decide to move the cabinet. Make sure you have 4 AA batteries on hand.
