I bought this shovel to use with my wood stove to remove hot ash. The attached shows the shovel after one use. The heat disintegrated the black surface coating and burned the metal underneath. It produced noxious fumes that filled the house. I'm not sure what you would use this shovel for, since it was not made for use with fireplaces or wood stoves. Seller offered a refund, but at my shipping expense.

The service was very good. The item was processed and delivered quite quickly, however the product is made very cheaply. The connections are loose and I don't think it will hold up for very long. Perhaps this will be a short winter and I won't need it very often!

The shovel looks great, and matches with my current set really well. Unfortunately the handle is loose (even though it is tightened on the threads) and the shovel part is not the thickest metal. But it is a pretty good shovel for the price.
