I love this cloak so much. It is SO SOFT and velvety and makes me feel like a magical wizard for sure.The clasp is a strong metal and is very shiny and attractive. It is attached to the cloak with a sort of rigid pleather that looks nice.The material of the cape is velvet with an inner liner and it is really, really soft. It is not by any means thin, but not too thick either, the thickness of the fabric is like a sturdy T-Shirt. It would probably keep the wind off but wouldn't keep you terribly warm.The hood is pointed at the top, but if you flatten it toward the back after you put on it looks great.It does come super folded up and so it has lines in it that need to be ironed out.Overall, I love this thing and will definitely be wearing it out next excuse I get to dress in something like this. I got this at $20 and at that price point, this is a quality product that’s definitely suitable for a costume or just wearing around the house.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but was still pleasantly surprised. Good quality for what is essentially a costume piece, fabric doesn't feel cheap or thin at all. Color was true to picture, and fit was good even for me, as a larger person. Nice addition for anyone looking to add to their ren faire wardrobe options

Thicker and heavier than I originally imagined but I love it. Really amazing quality. The color is true to photo and fits really well. The hood is large and billowy. Soft.
