Very easy and pretty quick to put together. Looks great and everything works the lights didn't come on at first, but when I got them too the headboard became even better. Thank you Very happy with my purchase.

Easy to assemble took less then a hour. Only complaint the equipment to attach to the actual bed frame could have been added other then that it really was a little different then I expected. And some of the pre installed nuts when tightening didn't really hold but it's nice looks great it would have been nice if attachment brackets or bolts was added to the kit. Fit's perfect with my frame but now I have to go buy equipment to attach to the actual frame. I just think some of the complaints from other's didn't have a clue of what they were doing. Or had no skills on assembly of putting things together. No power tools needed or you will destroy the pre installed equipment used to put it together and it's designed to all be hand tightened only. And those having issues with the light's just don't know how to install them properly because some pictures still have the tape that cover still on the lights I see it in your pictures. Remove the blue tape that's covering on the back of the light strip and you will not need the white clips I took the time to peel the blue backing off the light strip and it hasn't fallen off or had any problems with it at all. Initially while putting this together, I ran into a few parts that were confusing and had no instruction or clarity. This is my bad, but I thought that it would fit my existing bed frame. Once I had it lined up it is a few inches too wide, but still fits the overall width. Aside from that, the LED light strip is a joke. The first 30 minutes it was upright, it fell off. Each of the 3 hooks that's included (which does not seem like a reasonable amount for how long it is to prevent drooping) fell off and were not sticky anymore at all. The light strip has now begun completely separating from the other parts. Truthfully if it's not going to bed done well, I would've preferred a headboard without it. It's not gone in the trash. The headboard itself is sturdy and works well, no issues with the plugs or anything.

Lights did not work, and their was no way to bolt it to the wall or the bed. Wobbled every time I got on or off my bed and scratched my wall in multiple spots. 0 out of 5 stars.

It's not difficult to put together, everything is functional, led stripe has been working great and all the colors look amazing, power outlets are solid. Overall I'm super happy with this headboard. Really can't beat this price anywhere.

Storage rack? Open storage shelf? Sturdy and stable? No?? Partner and I received this yesterday and he was pumped to put it together. The padding (as in pic) has some kind of permanent indendation/scratch which I believe may be from shipping. The area between the "storage rack" and padding is no shelf, just a few inches of open space to show off a strip of LCD lights as if it's a killer new technology making the price worth it (not so much, not to mention at the brightest setting it doesn't do much at all). The "storage rack" which in description says 7"W is one of the main selling points for us as partner has a precious art piece he enjoys that matches some art in the bedroom he wished to keep on the headboard that's 5.5" but this headboards top "shelf" width is 4" only. The outlet boxes are not designed for one side or the other, so no matter what you do, one outlet will have a backward/upside down plug. They staged the photos well enough so that all of the plugs aren't eye sores, but Lord help they're hideous. I'm afraid to seek out items that could cover them on a 4" wobbly shelf and look attractive and not fear having something fall on my head and cause injury or break in my sleep; (this attaches to wall with 2 fabric straps, how's that for safe & secure?!) Given the chance, I'd have opted for a plain Jane piece of wood headboard and used a USB hub or power pack nearby instead.
