To relocate the Forerunner trailer plug to a more accessible location. There is enough slack in the harness to move it beside the hitch.

The mounting plate for the factory hitch on my Jeep Grand Cherokee rusted out. After busting off the rusted plate off the plug, it was 5 minutes to mount the new plate with the self tappers and then click the plug into place on the new mounting plate.

This was a must. As one get older, Noone likes crawling under your suv to plug in your trailer. This easily gives the ability to relocate your trailer plug in the 5th gen 4runner. Installation is easy. No need to cut wires just the loom they were in. Popping the plug from its original location to the new is as easy as pressing tabs.

Jeep did not have an OEM Receiver when I bought my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.I installed a Drawtight receiver and bought this bracket to secure the OEM tow receptacles to the Drawtight reciever.Look at the attached photo... you can see I mounted the bracket in a manner to get depth for the receptacle front-to-back so I could still put the receiver cover back on and I mounted the bracket underneath the hitch mounting tap from top-to-bottom so that the wiring comes under the receiver and into the bracket. The wiring barely clears.I bought 2x stainless steel bolts and 2x stainless steel nylon nuts and some black spray from Home Depot to mount this bracket to the receiver.I had to make the holes in the receiver larger and use a tap to screw in the bracket to the receiver. You can skip the drill-and-tap but I wanted a solid installation. The receiver tab is aluminum so it was very easy to drill and tap.In the end... the bracket works on a Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
