We bought three sets of these to hold up our guitars. Pretty easy to set up, and it works if you put them through studs OR drywall (when using the plastic drywall anchors). Really heightens our little space while showing off the guitars, and it feels firm & secure. For anyone with active kids or concerned about stability, there are also little straps you can set up for that extra layer of protection. But really not needed if the room is calm! Enjoy Bruce eating cheesecake with the musical backdrop

Love it! Very artsy. Believe this adaption is safer for the guitar than one that allows it to hang from its neck. I could have used a fourth large drywall expansion tube…. Installer damaged and it’s been difficult to find one that fits this adaption. (Flat with a hole) in lieu of having an opening for a Phillips type screw whereby these are open hole capable of screwing in flat rod with threading).

I likes that you can hang guitars at slant and the mounts are very nice , more decorative than standard mounts. . The only drawback is that the instructions were a bit vague

The wooden pegs are beautiful but everything else in this kit is garbage. The drywall anchors only work if your drywall is 2 inches thick (I can pretty much guarantee your drywall is not that thick), the suggested pilot hole size is too large so the anchors don't fit in it, the screws aren't long enough for the provided anchors so they don't grip onto them, and there is no way to get it to rotate the wooden pegs to be in the right place without stripping the anchors and making them useless and ruining the hole. After a lot of unnecessary anguish we ended up using different anchors which helped a lot, but if you don't a ton of different tools and materials already at your disposal then this kit is pretty much unusable.

We were looking for a guitar hook to display a special family guitar. This hook was such a great find. It holds the guitar at such a great angle to show off its special features, and it holds the guitar safely to the wall.
