Purchased this to break in my sons t ball glove and as always it worked great. I was worried because I wanted the aerosol version but it wasn’t on prime, but the spray version worked great. I read a lot of reviews about the spray bottle not working but mine worked perfectly fine. I did two treatments and the leather is soft and broken in. There is plenty left to do more gloves if needed. I can’t review the maintenance products that came with it as I haven’t used them and probably won’t as this is a t ball glove and he will grow out of ur before it’s needed.

If you need to break in a glove ASAP definitely get this stuff. Really, just get it to break in a glove period. Does a fantastic job and directions are easy to follow. The conditioner does a great job at maintaining the leather, especially over the winter. I also found that if you live in a hot climate or you need to break a glove in during the summer you can use this product and throw your glove i the trunk of your hot car all day. I have used the foam product before and noticed no difference between the foam and the spray and it lasted for quite a while. I was able to break in several gloves for kids I am coaching.

Easy to use but not sure if it really helped. The one and only way you are going to break in a glove is by using it. The heat and oil did help get it loose enough to be able to shape it to the ball, while being stored in my daughters bat bag, but once the glove cools down it is still just as hard to grip. if you're looking for something to maybe get a jump start on shaping, this product is so-so. If you're looking for a quick fix to break-in your glove, don't waste your time.One positive thing about it, my daughters glove is white and the cream does an excellent job of cleaning it after use.

I purchased my 12 year old son a fairly expensive Mizuno glove for baseball this year. I planned on him being able to use this glove for several years so I was a little bit nervous to use this product on it after reading some of the reviews. However, his glove was so stiff that he didn't even want to use it and was going to just use his ratty old cheapo glove so I knew I had to do something. I did watch a YouTube video before/while I was applying the product and I'm glad I did because it helped reassure me that I was doing everything correctly. I followed the directions exactly and there was a very noticeable difference in the glove after only one treatment. In fact, I don't think I'll even need to treat it again because he'll be able to break it in the rest of the way by using it at practice before his games start. His glove is black leather with red laces. There was some color transfer from the black dye on the leather to my hands while I was rubbing in the oil spray but there was no color transfer from the black to the red. I also did not notice any discoloration to either the leather or the laces after the treatment (other than it was shinier). I did get a little nervous because the directions make it sound like you're going to work up a frothy white film as you work the product in. This didn't happen it just seemed like the oil was soaking into the leather. This might've been because of the dark color of the leather but either way it didn't affect the final product. Again, the YouTube video came in handy here because it reassured me that I might not see the film like I was expecting so I didn't panic. This product was probably the best $10 I've spent in a long time. My son is so happy with the result and the fact that he can use his new glove without being worried he'll drop the ball. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a kiddo who's having a hard time with a new glove. It was a life saver for us!

I was skeptical because the last glove I bought was in middle school. I'm now in my 30's and my catcher's mitt from a time far, far away has started to really deteriorate--especially because I still play in a men's hardball, woodcut league with about 30 games (including playoffs) a year. It was time to bite the leather and get a new glove.Al the new gloves are rock hard. Like they want you to never buy a new glove or they are forcing you to use the store's steam machine or named leather softener. I tried that store brand softener, and it just didn't work. I search for ideas and came across this.WOW--the first treatment worked great. LOOK AT THE PHOTOGRAPHS. The mitt was rock hard and after spraying then putting into the oven for 4 minutes, then working for 5-10 minutes by flexing, look how soft and far the one edge could bend down! It barely moved when I get it. Now it can almost fold on itself!I did one more treatment, then put a baseball in it and wrapped it in the band they gave... and ratchets. Let it sit for a week and undid it, and was really great already! The ball would almost force the glove closed when I would catch it, which is exactly what a catcher wants. I played a hard game of catch and no balls came out. It is probably safe for a game.But the ball would still move a little in the glove. I want it to hit and suction to the pocket like my old glove. So I did two more heat treatments last night and it was even softer. I used the conditioning conditioner on it, which seems like some type of finishing cream, and then put a ball in and rewrapped it. Hopefully the pocket is super soft and the ball just stays puts. This is important for me because pop-time for a catcher is incredibly important, and if I have to spent even a tenth of a second looking for the ball, it could mean the difference between out and safe at second or third.Overall, this worked GREAT and I would strongly recommend it.

This stuff works GREAT! After just the first application, the glove was very broken in and easy to maneuver. Used two applications to ensure a perfect, soft feel.
