The faux wood is a nice pleasing look that can fit with a lot of different decor themes. The compact size limits unusable space on your bedside table. Unfortunately, the "natural" sound is not enough to wake up my teenage son and he sleeps right through it! If you are a heavy sleeper or it's easy for you to block out extraneous noises, you might want to look for an alarm clock that has louder options.

Needed a new alarm clock with large numbers since my eyesight isn't so good at 5am anymore. Very good clock so far. Nice sounds. I enjoy waking up to a little piano jingle with chirping birds. Easy to program if you read the directions. Doesn't take up too much room on the night table.

Smaller in size than what I was expecting, but actually works out even better in the spot I needed it. I like the look and feel of this clock. Fairly intuitive buttons; and once muscle memory kicks in, they should be a breeze to go through. The sounds are great. I like that the volume of the alarm is independent of the volume of the actual sounds. The volume can be very soft up to pretty loud. The night light feature is helpful, and it can be set for multiple diffent colors. The display light is amber. Both the night light and the display light can be dimmed independently which, depending on the mood of the room, csn be s fantastic feature. This replaces my 30 year old Timex Sound Machine which I dearly loved, but I could no longer see the small print on the multiple buttons to reset! If this clock lasts a quarter of that time and sees me though to retirement, I will be pleased.

Very compact, but filled with features. Alarm and sounds aren’t jarring and the orange light isn’t too piercing. 100% recommend!

Love the styling and features on this clock. The buttons take a little time to figure out. I really like the sleep sounds it provides.

This little alarm clock is a good size and shape and is pretty intuitive to use. All buttons are easily accessible and clearly labeled, and I really like that the dimmer is a smooth scroll wheel as opposed to a button with only a few choices. The display is crisp and a nice warm shade of yellow/orange that suits the vintage style. I keep it dim enough to where it still displays the time but doesn't actually emit light and I never find it too bright at night. The battery for keeping the time also works perfectly— it returned to the correct time after a several-hours-long power outage.One small disappointment is in the sound selection. The first ten are white noise, and then there are various other background sounds, like birdsong, rain, crackling fire, etc. I was mainly interested in the white noise tracks for the purpose of blocking out distractions, but I find them all unpleasant and tinny. At first I thought this was because I generally prefer brown noise and that the pitch of all the tracks was higher than I personally like, and that's part of it, but I think it also has to do with the size of the unit and its reach as far as being a speaker. While the birds and the rain sound clear enough, any rushing or humming sound that comes out of it is going to be crackly and tinny just because of the way it's built. If I put the volume up high enough to drown out environmental sounds, all of the white noise tracks are just obtrusive and ragged, like blaring TV static. That's down to personal preference, but it would've been nice to have had a video with all of the tracks.As far as playback, all the sounds loop pretty seamlessly. I haven't noticed a skip or a pause. The clock is overall well designed and functions as it's meant to. The sounds may or may not be to your liking.

My daughter loves this in her room. It has lots of options in terms of sounds and volume. She is picky and was able to find sounds she likes. It replaced both her old alarm clock and old white noise box. Love the look too!Oh and given all the options I was worried it would be complicated to operate, but it’s not! My 9 year old can set it up on her own.
