Using this M28x1.5 die I was able to recut the damaged threads at the end of my CV axles on my Tacoma. Only real complaint is I wish the die had more notches in it to engage with the die wrench, only having two lets it rock back and forth. Overall very happy for $20, would buy again.

I ordered this die to fix the threads on a Toyota front CV axle. When I removed the axle, I must have hit the end too hard and it messed up the threads even though I had put the nut on the end before hitting it. Using this die repaired the threads and saved the day for me.
